Downsized and making the best of my storage options

It's been raining so I had a few days to continue with my organizing. I tacked a few small nails in the door frame to hold some brushes out of the way. Hung an old towel bar inside the door on the top, can hang 6 griots bottles from that. I'll probably get some smaller bottles to make room for...

    Mothers PowerBall Mini

Sorry I just saw this. It was Walmart and another local Walmart did not have any in stock so I can't confirm if it's local to that one store or not

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

Yeah ok so most of that is right. What happens is each advance has a different line of products and every so often it's adjusted based on sales. Most of the time a product that you will get for $.05 is a product that they dropped from that store and they simply didn't pull it and send it back to...

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

Good job! Thanks for making my lunch break busy tomorrow too! I'll be checking out an advance that had one a week or two ago. It rang up for $6 last week. Almost pulled the trigger. In case anyone is interested here are the products that have been confirmed a nickel. Some are wayyy old but...

Downsized and making the best of my storage options

Thanks guys. I originally had planned on using small bottles but got carried away. Weight was definitely my first concern. I will take the door out tomorrow and see what length screws are in there. Any recommendation on what size I should use? I was going to take a 4" PVC pipe and cut...

Downsized and making the best of my storage options

I also got one of these and bolted it to the wall. I caulked the interior and also used some plasti dip to make it as waterproof as possible. $79-10= 73 after tax for the cabinet. Had the caulk and plasti dip. Outdoor version made by suncast was $149

Downsized and making the best of my storage options

Not sure if this is the right place to post but we recently moved from a 2600 sq ft house with a 16x12 shed that was my domain (aside from the occasional wasp). I now have an amazing waterfront location in a wonderful neighborhood with my beautiful wife, but my storage is down to a 25"x24"...

    Mothers PowerBall Mini

I don't know if it's local to my one store or if anyone else can replicate the deal but I grabbed a pair of them for $7. Also the regular power ball was $7 but I don't see any use for it.

The 75 lumens would probably be a bare minimum I would buy. I got it because it was a buck. If you want to try something out for a minimal cost give that a shot. This is on amazon and may help someone out. Seems like a good price for $30 http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000KI8EE6

Want To See A Car That's Never Been Washed/Waxed?

I'll say that it doesn't get "too" much worse. My neighbor has a 78 Chevy silverado that he's never washed since the first time he did in 1978. He said it took him an hour, then he drove it down a dirt road and have up. Never washed again. It is literally black rust. Don't know how else to...

    Brinkmann Subsitute

I'm not sure you'll find what you need at lowes. The cheapest 12v drill is $35 or$40 and they do not carry the solux or honestly any 4700-5000k mr16 bulbs. But if you find them let me know

I enjoy it! It's like reading the actual newspaper instead of reading the comics!

    IPA wipedown or not?

I think folks are misunderstanding the purpose of the "IPA wipe down" here. I'm no pro but I think the first few posters (bob excluded) are discussing it in the sense that it will prepare the paint to adhere to the lsp better. Hence the comment about the rinseless wash. In your case, ie...

I hear you on the light colors. My number one customers, parents, have 3 vehicles. All white. My wife has a white car My DD is champagne. My brothers car is light silver. Two friends that I do regularly are white and "tan" Frustrating. Especially when you try to spread something thin.

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

Just curious what are you guys using the headlamps for? I have a Black Friday special that I got from Home Depot that is 3 LEDs and claims 75 lumens I believe. I like it because I tend to find myself late at night with low lights trying to get stuff done on the interior of a vehicle. But if you...

I missed it. Oh well. I found a lowes near me that has 3 20v b&d li-ion blowers for $43 so I may go that route. Supposedly li ion is best for this kind of thing.
