I'd try it out on something...maybe your lawnmower, toolbox, or anything else that's painted that you don't care as much about as your auto's paint. The only downside is if you like the results, there's no more of the stuff available.
Nice results.
That makes quick work of cleaning carpets that have been removed.:xyxthumbs: I've cleaned a few likes this at the local coin-op wash before I got a pressure washer of my own.
I've done at least one full correction with the HF pads without an issue. They performed as intended. I purchased several of each color when they were $3.99 each at the beginning of the year.
I keep the majority of my detailing stuff indoors year-round these days. My garage is not heated, but is insulated. It never gets to freezing in there but I don't want to take any chances on ruining any products. I've had a few polishes in years past separate when I neglected to bring them...
Buyer Beware, 2009 - 2013 Factory Bearing Problems - Maxima Forums
There's one thing to consider when purchasing one of that year range. I suggest checking out all TSB's you can find for them and reading up on various maxima forums before making your decision.
As everyone else said, NuFinish is really durable. Easy on/easy off if you apply it thin. If it did not stain trim, I would still occasionally use it. It would be nice if NF could produce a non-staining version without the cleaners.
One of mine leaked a bit when new. Super hot garage + laying on its side. A drop or two of oily residue was on the shelf where it was laying. It never leaked anymore after that so I didn't worry about it.
If you do use the Nu-Finish, I see no point in topping it. I honestly don't see the point in topping any product, but that's a debate for another thread. Be aware that Nu-Finish is an AIO type sealant. It will clean up paint and protect it. If your paint is in very good condition already, you...
The rinseless wash is not the issue. The black wax on the other hand is potentially what left the residue. Plenty here, myself included, use the rinseless wash often.
He meant that he applies the dressing with a foam applicator rather than spraying it directly onto the tire. In my opinion, that's the only way to go with any tire dressing. No overspray to clean up.
Thickly applying a lsp is wasteful and will result in more work for you in possibly more than one way. It's harder to remove and you risk marring the paint by needing to rub it more during removal. I used to be guilty of over applying products. I have fond memories of taking way longer than...
I use dawn dish soap and a soft bristled toothbrush to clean my pads. I only detail my personal vehicles and the random car for a friend or relative, so I'm able to clean my pads immediately. I find that doing this makes for a quick and painless cleanup.
