Does it screw in nice and tight with no difference in the feeling of screwing in the smaller backing plate than the bigger backing plate? The reason I ask is because it might be the occilating motion that the pad does while buffing. It might be more noticable when the radius of the backing plate...

I have been doing it that way also, I have been working on my gf's car and it is a long process I have been knowing that. She has an 08 scion xB and I am trying to be efficient enough to get her car done as soon as I can without minimizing my efforts.

They are actually the Cobra blue mf towels that were up during the MF bogo last month I believe.

I just wanted to ask a few questions on staying efficient. For multistage polishing and sealing do you guys perform each stage throughout the whole car prior to go the next step or do you guys perform all stages per panel prior to moving onto the next one?

I suppose I will definitely have to order more MF towels and have a set designated for quick detailing/waxing and removing polish.

Now as stated earlier the MF towels were washed with the regular shower towels and was dried with them also. Now I am getting really erkked because the MF towels are causing swirls all over my car and I am planning to take the M205 to my car with white CCS pads and reseal it again with KSG. Can...

I don't know the answer to why their packages comes with 6.5" but I am sure that once you get the 5" backing plate and 5.5" pads you will notice a difference. I bought Griot's DA and I love it. I have only 2 6.5" pads and only because they came with the bundle I bought. The rest are all 5.5".

I wasn't trying to take any shortcuts on removing the previous wax/sealant. I just thought I read previously that IPA wipe downs were for the purpose of cleaning away previous sealant and polishes that was missed or previously there.

Like I said it should suffice for the moment. But when polishing we have to maintain the pads levelled anyways. The only way to really do damage I'm assuming is if you tilt the pad and polish on a tilt. Or if you are planning to try to push full force on the pads to try to flatten them out and...
