    Wax Streaks? need help

a Chemical citrus wash and possibly and IPA wipe down should get all of the old sealant off. Also, I too would recommend against topping the jetseal unless you possibly want to add a second coat (Jetseal) to make sure you have proper coverage. I would apply in your garage and just add the second...

Let me start by saying I'm not a professional. I do my two cars and friends and family for free. With that being said, I am taking advantage of the sale and picking up. 1. Cobra clay towel 2. 3 orange and 3 white (5.5 LC flat pads) I need help as I don't know if I should get HD Adapt or...

Should I just accept Rock Chips?

I have had my new jetta for almost 6 weeks and have noticed about two rock chips one of my bumper and one tiny one on the center of my hood. Are these just unavoidable? Should I not care as much? I'm going crazy!!!!!

    Tips for interior stains?

I use a little green machine and it works great!!!!! So fill the green machine with as hot of solution as you can do. Also get a nice large spray bottle of your favorite all purpose cleaner (I like Chemical guys all clean). Spray all the stains liberally with the APC and use a nylon brush to...

    Best Product for Winter Care

I agree with what all of said. Clay bar your car and lay down a good sealant. I am currently using wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant. There are several great sealants out there. I would suggest that when the temps are above freezing you could go knock most of the nasty stuff off at the coin...

    Saturated Jeep Carpet

I owned a 99 Wrangler for almost 8 years and my softop didn't leak at all. I flood a few times wheeling it but that's about it. Also, when you remove the carpet and add a bedliner, the floorboards can get quite hot!

    Saturated Jeep Carpet

As a former jeep wrangler owner here is what I did. 1. Take it to a Spray and wash 2. High pressure soap all of the interior carpets. You will get all the dirt out as well. 3. High pressure rinse it 4. Use the wet dry coin operated vacuum and get all the water you can out of it. 5. Let it...

How to clean weather tech floor mats?

take them to the local "do it yourself" coin spray wash and they usually have clips on the wall. You can put your mats in the clips and use the high pressure gun to clean them. I don't top them with anything as it usually just makes them super slick.

    Father In Laws 2008 Civic

Thank you guys! I love getting a nasty car and bringing it back! Detailing has become a stress reliever for me and I'm always asking for new cars to work on! Currently, I don't do much correction, I might do a pass or two with the PC but find that most are happy after a decontamination of the...

    Ceramic coating for mobile detailing

I'm not a professional detailing for a living but wouldn't adding a coating to your arsenal cut down on your job for that individual? I mean if you have a customer willing to pay for great work and you sell them a coating that will last years not months, isn't that cutting your bottom line...

I need some help protecting my new-ish car!

I'd pick up a good sealant and apply that this week. That should get you through most of the winter. I would recommend Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0. You can put a coat of that on your wheels too! You will also want to pick up some Aquawax, and you can spray that after each wash to...

    845 Waxed exterior attracting dust/leaves

as long as you got it off the car ok and you are ok with buying a new bottle every few years, I see no issues. I tend to lay my LSP on probably a tad too thick too but I like to be able to see where it is on the car so I know I have full coverage.

    Father In Laws 2008 Civic

So my father in law is pretty hard on his cars. I usually give it a quick coat of wax every other year. They are currently out of town and I decided to give him a full interior job since I didn't have much to do today. As you can see from the photo's it was pretty bad. What I used for the...

    best correction bang for buck

Thanks guys. It looks like I will be adding an additional pad when doing my car! I think I will be going with some M205 or HD speed and some hex logic pads. I like apply the lsp by hand so no waxing pads needed for me.
