You should get a charcoal chimney starter. It's as important as a grit guard! Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2

Is 303 ok for use on exterior trim?

Runs like crazy in the rain. Really a disappointment since it works so well inside. Oh well. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2

    Souveran Alternatives?

845 is tough too! I think it would be an awesome test. Obviously this guy is a connoisseur. Put 845 to the test. Give us a quick review. I'm interested.. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2

Paint abrasion, horrible touch up job

If the paint is relatively fresh you might even be able to wipe it off with a solvent. I've used IPA on stuff like this before. Usually it takes quite a while for touch up paint to get hard enough to wet sand anyway.

Paint abrasion, horrible touch up job

If your comfortable with it, I'd try wet sanding it level. You should then be able to polish it back up. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2

Light Swirls: Am I worrying too much?

Maybe change up your pads or try another pass. If you have a really hard clear a rotary will correct it quicker.. Edit: I see you are using an orange pad. Maybe go for a more aggressive polish. No experience with what you've used though. I do know that any defects you don't remove with a...

    Detail in midnight

Seconded on the lighting. I detail my car evenings and nights working full time with a 6 year old kid. When I first started and didn't have good lighting I ended up having to redo everything. :( Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2

    how to strip wax

Any polish or clay would strip the wax. Best practice would be to strip it with a wash I'd imagine, however, I'd probably just do a normal wash. Hit it with IPA and start clay/polish. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 2

    M105 by hand leave holograms/swirls

Yes. The abrasives in 105 are quite harsh. If you put some on your hand and rub it you can feel the gritt. Plus, applying by hand isn't as uniform of an application in comparison to a machine with a pad. That's why you are probably seeing exaggerated marring. Did you follow with a less...

    Papa's Project 4Runner

The ghosting of the emblems buffs out well. You'll never see they were there after a compounding or heavy polish.
