    Whats your dream car?

Here in the states, they use a GM Ecotech 2.0L engine with the available supercharger to put out an equal 300hp as the Honda Type-R K20 engine which will put its 0-60 time at ~2.7sec and ~3.5sec for the 220hp version. Both are fantastic engines, and some may even consider the GM to be a...

    Whats your dream car?

So many....although my ultimate dream car would probably be the Mclaren F1. Short of that, the list can go on and on and on.

    Caked

I have the mini powerball, and it works great, but it just didn't fit. Been trying to find a picture of my friends Mercedes that I really needed something on, but just couldn't find the exact picture of it. Here is something simular to it only they are polished aluminum (and yes, I am sure of...

    Caked

Ok, I officially am sick of this and need help. It started with my car; I have caked on brake dust, however the wheels are uncoated which means I can't use Meguiar's Wheel Brightener, and they are the mesh style BMW wheels (Style 7 for those who know) which means there is no room for a Mothers...

    Got UDQ...

UQD has become my go-to detailer. I don't use it for the beading/sheeting purposes (I live in Socal..it rains at most 1 week out of the year), but rather its amazing ability to not streak when used in direct SoCal sun on black paint. Too expensive to use on customer's cars, but it is the...

+1!!!!! Prep work is key! It would be like building a house on dirt instead of concrete! You need a good foundation to work off of!

Quick Poll : Which Step in Proper Finish Care Do You Find Yourself Skipping Most ??

I only touch under the hood when someone requests it, and no one does. The trunk usually gets taken care of, but I never touch the undercarriage as well. I only do paint cleaning if I use a buffer, and no many people care about that. Everything else gets taken care of.

So is Mothers Mag & Alum Polish the best all-around for a powerball?

Yes. Mother's can only be used on bare aluminum/mag/chrome. NXT can be used on any wheel surface.

So is Mothers Mag & Alum Polish the best all-around for a powerball?

I have both Mothers Mag/Alum polish and Meguiar's Hot Rims Mag/Alum. I originally had Mother's and it works fantastic! It produces great results, and there is no doubting that. The one thing that bugged me though was that it isn't the most pleasant thing to work with. Used this for months...

Which is best for glass - XMT 360 or steel wool?

Clay them! I always clay my windows, then toss on a coat of either NXT or ColorX. Gives the RainX effect but just lasts longer, and much easier! No water spots on my windows :)

    Review - Hi-Tech Body Sponge

Just used it ony my trunk (black paint). It definaly did its job. The trunk didn't appear to get scratched at all. Guys the key behind this product is keeping it clean. So long as you keep it clean and lubricated, I don't see any problems with it. I wrote this review because it is a unique...

    Review - Hi-Tech Body Sponge

Thanks. I have no affiliation to any retailers of any aut-related products period. Supercharged does make a good point though, and from what I have heard, he is a very respected person here, so I definatly respect what he said. Hell, if Autogeek sold it, I would of got it through here since it...

    polishing fresh paint

You can use Meguiar's M81 without any ill side effects. This is a cleaner polish made for body shops and provides a very light protection. Be warned though as once you wash it, it will wash off (remember, built for body shops). I would way at least 30-60 days for the paint to dry though...
