    Know Anyone who sells cars?

Now is not the time to go into the car business to begin with. Secondly, finance people are not just hired off the street, rather most get there by first selling the cars, and being promoted to the position; simply put, you have to prove yourself first on the field before you can move on up...

    Pocket Knives

I never leave home without my Swiss Army Knife: Victorinox Swiss Army - Cadet Pocket Knife It is simple, nice looking with the metal finish, and has SO many uses that I can't tell you how many times it has come in use for so many random things.

Help Me Pick My Next Car....

Driven them both? If not, do so and see which one stirs your senses more. Honestly they are both fantastic cars and nit-picking between the two is just stupid. The true test is when you drive it, do you love the experience? Do you look forward to the experience? Simply put, which one stirs...

New Business Cards (3.5 by 2)

I use to do graphic design, and if there is anything I learned from it, is that the simpler, the better. Great job! Looks fantastic! :dblthumb2:

Prestige Auto Detailing: 1992 BMW 850I

Careful; DO NOT drive that thing for an extended amount of time, or you may just fall in love with it and buy it yourself! Seriously though, that is one of my favorite cars BMW ever built. An absolute PITA to work on, doesn't handle the best, not the most power or anything, but it just...

Cabin Air Filter for ur Car or Truck

Oh you have no idea....BMW has been putting those things in since the late 80s, and believe it or not, I have seen some where they have not been changed in 10+ years! The filters get so clogged, NO AIR was coming through the vents when I first got my car! Changed it out, and also had to vacuum...

Shopping for Next Car - Best Choices, Recommendations & Expereinces???

Well have you considered a 2007 BMW 5 series? They run in the mid to low 30s now with a good amount of equipment. Still probably have like 4 years left on the warranty (100k miles) and maybe 2 years left for free maintenance. I'm a BMW man, so theres my suggestion.

Dodo Juice Rubbish Boy's Juiced Edition

It originally started with this guy trying to either prove/disprove the idea on that it is cheaper to make your own wax and such. Well, it turned into this HUGE thread over at Detailing World where he went through trial and error several times, spent several hundred dollars, and ended up coming...

    Which Collinte to try?

I went the 476 way. Fantastic wax, and along with Meguiar's #16, a classic that you always tend to break out every once in a great while. Can't go wrong with either :xyxthumbs:

    These things are a pain!

The other Porter that I am trying to teach some basic laws of detailing. Rest assured I use clay though it doesn't take it off as fast as I would like, which is why I am asking.

    These things are a pain!

Yeah the reason I ask is I work at a dealership and was wondering if anyone knew a secret method on quick removal of these buggers. Right now, my best method is by fingernail or clay but neither are as fast as I would like. I was thinking, is that Pinnacle Bug Sponge REALLY effective at it? As...

    These things are a pain!

I think they are pollen or something, perhaps from palm trees but they look like orange specs on the paint. Take it off the paint and it seems like a powder. My question does anyone have some tips or tricks on taking these things off? What is the fastest way to do this when the car is covered...

    Favorite car product thus far!

For actual consumable product, the only one I have found that can't be replaced with anything else is ONR. Outside of that, I'm surprised no one mentioned these: -My quality microfiber towels -5 Gallon buckets with grit guards and bucket wheel dollies! Those are the 3 things that I simply have...

    Dealer Advice

Sadly, I work at a dealership, and while they don't offer a 'Teflon' protection, they have another warranty under the name of Xzilon. While the stuff does last a good 5 months, its ability to protect during those 5 months is laughable. What gives me the biggest kick is the lack of...

Comparable to Pinnacle Souveran Paste without the $$?

Meguiar's Gold Glass hands down. That, or you can also do M7 with M26 which will equally do just the same, if not better.

    Pissed off!

So, it really takes a lot to really piss me off or irritate me, but today, one of those things happened. First of all, I work at a BMW dealership, and in our shop, there is a tech that I know. Now, it wasn't until recently that I found out he was the brother of a VERY good elementary school...

    Clear Coat is Gone!!

Go buy a bottle of Meguiar's ColorX, and see what it does for the hood. If it is single stage paint, that is going to be the product of choice for sure. If it is indeed clear coat and just heavily oxidized, than it will reveal that. If it is indeed clear coat failure, than you will likely not...
