    DoDo Juice Wax letdown?

I would think that if you can't see the wax using a light at different angles, than it's not there. I'm curious to hear if anyone has had similar results...

Best product to stop dust attraction

That's a good point. I never thought about how the nap of a towel would effect the static. I've got a few of the newer non-cobra waffle weaves from AG that I don't really car for (as far as drying goes), so they might make a good qd towel. Thanks for the tip! For example?

    Express Details - Sray waxes

I don't know about the ones you mentioned; as far as being able to apply them on a wet car. I do know that Griots Spray Wax is recomended to be sprayed on a wet car before drying. I don't see why other spray waxes couldn't be.

    DP Gel Wheel Cleaner Question?

I personaly don't think it cleans or clings as well as well as P21S. The DP is a great wheel cleaner, but P21S Wheel Gel has some pretty big shoes to fill. The DP doesn't really seem like it is as much of a gel as the P21S. Another awesome wheel cleaner, that's safe for all wheels is the Griots...

Best product to stop dust attraction

maybe someone should try using a dryer sheet for their final wipe down. That person should definately have a black car. FWIW that was a joke, but I wonder if there's a way to use the same principles that make a dryer sheet work,to help with reducing static on auto paint? It probably sounds...

    "Smart Car" detail

If you have any issues with your buffer not working; chances are you accidentaly plugged the car in... I wonder what the carbon footprint of a Smart4two; that's only washed with a "waterless" wash; would be compared to a NORMAL car, that's washed with traditional chemicals/methods...?

Klasse All In One, along with Klasse Sealant Glaze offers pretty long protection from what I hear. Maybe top it with some of that Collinite #845. That should get you well through the winter time...

Who's the youngest here on AGO??

Not the youngest, but I'm 23. I've been interested in detailing since i was 17, when I bought a new Mitsubishi Evo. I got the crash course in the joys of owning a black car...

    Upstate NY salt hater

Where abouts in Upstate NY? I live in the Finger Lakes region which is in the heart of Saltyroadsville. I only live about 3 miles from my work. But, the local town highway dept. happens to be right in the middle of that commute. So all of the trucks pulling in and out of the "town barns" sprays...

    The Forgotten Wash

I have not yet started washing using the ONR wash method (I'm hoping the recent poll will inspire some good write-ups), so I still use the old school washing method. Well, not really old school because it's all new products and methods to me; but you know what I mean... First I pre-soak with...

    Pad Washer class review

I don't really use my polisher that much. I'm about to get pretty busy doing a pre-winter detail for a bunch of my family cars, but that's the exception. I'm wondering if I could modify a grit guard somehow to get a similar type tool for cleaning pads. Being a hobby detailer, it's hard to...

Prepping smaller areas you can't polish with a DA?

I would think that the areas like the ribbing on the roof would polish out fine with a PC. If you use a smaller pad, combined with the thickness of the pads, I would think that they would conform to the shape of the ribs...

How do you use steel wool?

Just make sure that the wheels are definately chrome, and not polished aluminum with a clear coat. How does it work on glass? Do you use really light pressure when cleaning? I would be kinda worried about it scuffing the glass, but I guess not with the really fine grade stuff...
