    Lake Country Hydro-Tech pad review

Hello everyone. The terms of winning the LC Hydro-Tech pads stated that we would write a detailed review with pictures. Before I give my review, I would like to state that I am an amateur/hobby detailer with limited experience with machine polishing. I used my 6" CCS pads to compare to the 6"...

What should I use to detail a SeaDoo PWC?

My dad purchased a 2009 SeaDoo GTX limited iS about a month ago, and he purchased a 24" pontoon boat at the beginning of spring. While they're stored for the winter, he wants me to do a little detail work on both of them. I want to focus more on the SeaDoo because it has a lot of painted...

lambs wool pads and bonnets--what are they good for?

This may be a stupid question, but I think it goes along with the OP and this is the place to ask it. If you look at any of the stock pictures of the PCXP (the pictures in the add), the PC has a thick white pad on it. This pad was included with the XP, and it is fastened to a backing plate...

    DP Total Interior Cleaner

So far the only thing that I've used DP Total Interior Cleaner for was my leather motorcycle jacket. It got a plethera of bugs off, but there where some that it couldn't remove. I think the problem was how I was aggitating the leather. I was only using a MF towel. If I give it another go later...

Topics you would like to see more info on...

Good thread, it will be cool to see how many people struggle with the same things as me... As for the rotary polishing; I'm sure you can give tips online. But isn't that something that you would learn alot better by having someone teach you in person?

    Pinnacle Gel Wheel Cleaner. ????

Griots and P21S are my go-to wheel cleaners. Unless the wheels are really bad, or you want to "pamper" your wheels, Griots is the way to go... Griots=29.99 per gallon, and P21S=80ish per galon

    Little help with wheel stains

Hopefully that's what they originaly looked like, and it's not a result of using the Megs Wheel Brightener... It almost looks like they are bare aluminum that has been media blasted....

    Have a few questions

Are you sure that the seat inserts are real suede? On my first generation CTS-V (2005) I thought for atleast a year that it was suede, but it's actually "micro-suede"; which is basicaly a fabric with a brushed/napped finish. If that's the case; you can use a mild soap and water if needed. I have...
