    System One X3 Polish

Cheap rotary is a solution but one other thing to note is that X3 is not necessarily what isn't compatible with DAs (i.e PC, UDM, etc). I think the polish would work great. As a matter of fact it would work just as good as say 106ff. The wool pad which was part of the 2 step process that they...

    System One X3 Polish

I've used it and have to say this is one of the best polishes I've used in a LONG time. The high points to me is definitely that I can use the one product for cutting and polishing but also I love that it is a water based polish. That means that if you get it on trim or let it dry... clean-up...

    My 99 Cobra Detailing - NXT 2.0

Started with some guys over at on autopia... Hey grout sponge pusher - Autopia Car Detailing Forum They are made by AmericanMuscle.com... I guess they brand them as well because the center cap is an 'M'. They are the only ones that I have seen with this finish. They call it "hypercoated" but...

    My 99 Cobra Detailing - NXT 2.0

I had a couple new things I wanted to try out... namely 106ff and NXT 2.0. I also used my grout sponge for the first time. I gotta say... best $2 I spent on detailing products. :up I probably don't need to say much more than "I concur" as regards to 106ff... that stuff is amazing! I was...

    2004 Lincoln Navigator

This truck has never been waxed since purchasing it new 3 years ago according to the owner. This was very evident the minute water hit the surface. Wheels were cleaned with a brightener (more on this to come... check back later on this blog for more details on this product) and a pressure...

I would like some help about wetsanding!

I always use an x pattern. I also found that 2,000 grit is fine when followed with a decent compound and a wool pad.

DG 105 / DG AW Beading at 5 months

Thanks all. Needless to say, I am very happy with DG products! It's my go-to sealant these days.

DG 105 / DG AW Beading at 5 months

This stuff is indestructible! Full correction and application of 101/105 was done in the beginning of June. I've maintained it with AW probably once maybe twice a month.

WTT: Megiuar's #84 Compound (have several 8 oz. bottles)

I've tried most of the Megs line... but I don't think I've tried 09... might take you up on that.

WTT: Megiuar's #84 Compound (have several 8 oz. bottles)

Like the title says, I've got a LOT of this stuff and recently picked up a bunch of 4 and 8 oz. bottles from US Plastic and wouldn't mind trying some new stuff. I'm interested in it all, polishes, compounds, LSPs even dressings and cleaners. Let me know what you've got and we'll trade bottles...

    Car wash soap

I like Megs GC a bit better than DG 901. I think it feels more slimy which to me translates to lubricity. On my black Mustang it seems to leave a bit glossier finish too.

    How to eliminate streaks ?

If I were you I would try some Duragloss FC&S #921. That stuff is made to maintain Duragloss sealants and has some cleaners that would probably work.

    How to eliminate streaks ?

Yup I agree... you didn't let it cure long enough. I usually wait almost an hour in humid weather before buffing off.
