    How much?

Thanks for the suggestions on revamping my packages. I recently changed them to make them easier to read. I guess I have more work to do on them. Paul, thanks for the guide. I didn't think it was possible but I sure am glad it is!

    How much?

Thanks Paul, I don't quote or do business over text. I do what you suggested. By educating them, I was talking about my packages and prices. I guess I'm just looking for a better starting point to the conversation. Like a text saying, I'm interested in getting your gold interior package done...

    DA ticks?

I ran into this on a black vette awhile back. After trying just about everything, I found the LC microfiber pad with 205 @ speed 4 finished clean. I've went to this a few times since for finicky black paint and it hasn't let me down yet.

    How much?

Everyday I get a few text messages or emails that resemble one of these statements... How much for a mustang? How much? How much for the inside? I'm wondering how to better educate the folks before they contact me. Anybody have any suggestions? I have a full price list on my website and have...

I use the GG6" as well. I have a couple 4" brushes with hook and loop that fit right on a 4" backing plate.

    Stubborn Tree Sap

Somebody suggested this awhile back on another thread and it works great. Use a cotton ball or cosmetic pad with IPA on it. Let it sit on the spot for a few minutes and the sap comes right off.

    Carpet extractors

I had the durrmaid up until this time last year when somebody decided they needed it more than I did. They broke into my trailer and took it and some other equipment. The durrmaid was small, got hot and did a ok job. I feel like I worked harder with this machine. From cleaning carpets to...

    reverse osmosis filters?

Here's my unit. I have since put the duel 20" DI between the RO and the small DI. I have it running into a 35 gallon tank with a auto shutoff valve. I pump into my trailer and let it fill back up when I'm working. 35 gallons takes about 5 hours to make. I couldn't be happier with setup. Plug...

    2016 Subaru WRX STI

That's the plan, it'll be well worth it in the long run for me. I wish I would have went that route in the beginning. As far as pad use. Plan on 1 per panel for each color.

    reverse osmosis filters?

I was running duel 20" DI filters... Just like the big CRspotless but homemade. With my city water I was getting about 200 gallons out of a batch of resin. $80 to replace the resin or .40 a gallon. For the money I spent on that system, I could have got the RO/DI system I have now. I went from...

    2016 Subaru WRX STI

I've had 2 go bad on me. First was brand new and melted at the mount bolt after a couple of panels. I put one on each flex and swapped after each panel, worked great for about a month and then one cracked at the mount bolt. Ive only taken them up to speed 5. I am now going to have 2 plates...

    reverse osmosis filters?

I checked with my father in law who has a system for his reef. He suggested a system from one of the reef suppliers online. It's a water saving system with 2 RO membranes that capable of producing up to 150 gal a day. They also sell individual parts. I went with the kit and couldn't be happier...

    Mobile car wash question

I use a trailer but I'm not in a big city. I can see it being a pain in larger cities or more congested areas.

    Anybody recharge their DI resin?

I run a RO/DI set up and use 20" canisters for the DI portion. They each hold roughly 5lbs of DI resin. Ordering new resin runs around $80 so I wanted to reduce that. I jumped on google and sure nough somebody has figured out how to recharge the stuff. I bought what I needed and went to work. A...

Roll Call! Who drives a MANUAL transmission?

My first Chevy SSR was a auto but I quickly learned that they had made a handful of 6 speeds (2213 between 2005&2006). I upgraded and it is now my garage queen. Our DDs are both autos and I'm ok with that. Traffic in a manual gets old quickly.
