When you say different speeds, you should be using speed 6 for correction. Make sure you're working the polish in fully.

Could you do the whole car with the 5.5 inch white pad, or did you have to use smaller pads/hand polish parts. Thats the exact same as my car, got it 3 months ago and it needs a polish, damn dealer prep.

What concentration do you do. I first tried 2oz soap to 6oz water as suggested on the DP soap package but i feel like i'm wasting soap. I might pick up some CG WG when i'm in florida over christmas break.

I bought PB's Spray and Gloss, was ok but tended to streak a bit. Then I got Crystal Mist in a kit and wow, amazing difference, car looked dripping wet. I'll use up my 16oz spray bottle and might buy a 64oz jug of it later on.

Are you using megs pads? You do NOT want to use a medium cutting pad on light imperfections.

I think theres a nice way to put everything, and thats not one. It was an honest mistake. Sometimes us autogeeks are so good at what we do, we make detailing look easy to others:awesome:

I was washing my car today and theres a few huge blogs of sap, one is 1 inch by 1 inch, and the other is 2 inches by 1 inch, and their thick. Any suggestions on how to remove.

Don't purchase a yellow pad unless your paint is in horrible condition (ie oxidation, major damage). XMT 3 w/ orange pad should be good enough. Menzerna SIP/106ff would be an even better addition to your polish collection.

They have the 4 inch pads, i was half tempted to buy some. $17.99 for 4 plus $11.99 for a 3 1/2 inch backing plate.

Noticed a few minute where it was down, but the benefits of the upgrade make it worth it :)
