Bondo should never have been placed on the hood in the first place. Due to the heat and all the vibrations it will continue to crack. The shop may be able to use some putty to fix it but it is a temporary solution as sooner or later cracks will reappear.

Update. I got the fire investigators report today. The believe there was a short in the wiring to the heat lamps in my spray booth that started the fire. over all damage estimate is 200k to 300k. Now that i have the report i am waiting on the insurance adjuster.
