I do this

Megs APC+ will do, wheels, tires, wheel wells, carpet/cloth interior, trim. the gallon size goes a long way, since it can be dilluted depending on use. Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner Plus D103

I myself haven't haven't and wouldn't use that. for tires themselves I use ARO ( amazing roll off) and wolfgangs tire and wheel cleaner. both of those are very good at getting dressing, and brown crud off from the tires. I'm sure others will let u know what they use. just my .02

just use lotion after you work on the car, and whenever you need it. you don't need a "girly" smelling one and your hands won't be all cracked.

I have the Chem. Guys odor eliminator with the apple scent. it works very well. I applied some to a friends car of mine about a month and a half ago, and I can still smell the apple scent ( though minimal-not strong) and smells clean inside. good product, you can dilute it too.

couldn't you also just turn the pot upside down and give it a "love tap" till the wax comes out?? when I wax my cars I take the wax out of the pot and use a plastic baggie to hold it while applying to the foam applicator...

you could get away with washing the wheels with soap and water. I can't comment on if PB's wheel cleaner will strip the sealant as I have never used it.

I see them now, odd how I didn't before. anyways, came out really good. how did you do the vertical panels on the hood scoops?
