What if a car has ppf with a ceramic coating? I'd be wary of polishing any type of ppf but would a light polish with a finishing pad be feasible? I imagine polishing by hand would be the safest approach especially to minimize any heat.

Great article! It's helpful to see reminders to have realistic expectations from coatings since so many boast years of durability and other claims. Did the paint with road grime feel smooth? Like you mentioned I imagine proper washing and maybe chemical decon can mitigate this build up a bit.

Guess it depends on what type of contaminants are on your paint and if your car is exposed to the weather. Bug guts, bird poop, road grime, water spots, etc can all damage paint especially if they bake in the sun. But if it's not that dirty, it might be fine.

Nice haul! Waiting for my package to arrive. Maybe it's the picture but does the new reload bottle have a darker grey tint to it? Maybe that's why it looks less concentrated.

Nice job! And great lineup of products. Maybe a tweak for the initial process is to wash, rinse, then do a chemical decon. Less stuff for it to react to and all. CG honeydew smells delicious.

If it's just wax, an IPA solution may be enough for tight spots. Or you could just manually polish these areas

I saw the car once after some rain and it appeared fairly spotless. Owner reported some nice beading action also.
