    Foreal...?

My Story: About 3 months ago, I was drying off my vehicle when my neighbor's kid (Dennis the Menace) sneaks over and takes one of my wash mitts. I look over to his driveway and the kid is washing his dad's aluminum bass boat, full of caked on river crud, with the mitt. Then he proceeds to...

    Money spent on Autogeek website

This thread has funny timing, because I saw you post photos of your collection the other day and thought, "I wonder how much that cost him?"

    Money spent on Autogeek website

$540 since 9/25/12. I don't regret one penny. I spent a lot more on a Country Club membership at a Davis Love course, and all I ever did was lose $4 balls and drink $5 beers. I dropped the membership, picked up a range membership and a detailing hobby. Cars have never looked better and the...

A Little Winter Time Fun Photo Shoot.

From one '02 F150 owner to another, nice truck! Also, those are some nice pics and very pretty landscape. We don't get that white stuff in South Mississippi.

    Polish Plan for Altima Advice

This is what I'm worried about. I guess I'll start w/ finishing glaze on a white pad and 3 section passes. Then keep slowly getting more aggressive w/ pad/polish combo & number of passes. Thanks for all the great info so far!

    Polish Plan for Altima Advice

Thanks! The scratches are light, but consistent on all body panels. I've done nothing but watch videos and read articles for months now; however, now that it's time to put it to test on the wife's car I'm a little hesitant. I did my F150 a few weeks ago - amazing results, but if I screwed it...

    Polish Plan for Altima Advice

I'm contemplating polishing my 2010 Dark Slate Altima. Through research on this forum, I've read that the paint is very thin on this car. I'm a little scared to polish it. Should I be? I'm the original owner, and it's never seen polish. It has the typical light scratches that most cars on...

Got the first of my black friday orders today

For some reason, I get different UPS guys all the time. I live a quarter mile from the distribution center, so I'm always at the end of their work day. Sucks because I have to wait, but it's awesome because I'm always home. Checking emails, I have 8 Shipping Confirmations from Auto Geek...

    Any sweet pick ups lately?

Is it bad that I don't remember all the stuff? I picked up Fuzion the first day along w/ some MF's (maybe chinchilla and 530s???). I also picked up the WDGLS 3.0 on BOGO. I picked up the Werner $17 work bench at Lowes along with a $79 skil miter saw. Then I picked up a Craftsman 20 gallon...

    Birthday Detail - Stacy's Honda

That car looks amazing and nice use of that warm sunset lighting. I avoid taking photos at high noon unless I have to - lighting is key!

I'm not usually a truck guy, but this one sure did change my mind for a day or so.

That's always my thought when I see one on the road as well... Kind of like Rubicons these days. Nice work on the detail! Paint looks great.

BLACK Friday BOGO - Countdown Begins

I think the meeting was about cover sheets. "Oh, and remember: next Friday... is Hawaiian shirt day. So, you know, if you want to, go ahead and wear a Hawaiian shirt and jeans." Probably not going to make it to midnight... hopefully there are goodies left around 5am.

How much Menzerna FG 400 to buff out a car?

Mike, you're absolutely right, and if anyone is interested, I stated how I personally measure in post #16. Not only does a clear bottle help you keep an eye on your product, but the self cleaning tops aren't too bad either.

How much Menzerna FG 400 to buff out a car?

I'm gonna beat this horse to death simply b/c I'm concerned someone will be reading this thread and starting their own business. Next thing you know, they're figuring out costs with incorrect math. The only reason you believe the weight of the bottle carrying the product is unnecessary is...

How much Menzerna FG 400 to buff out a car?

The original post was to figure out the amount of product used by weight (when the bottle was included in the weight). Therefore, the weight of the bottle is absolutely necessary. Nit-picky, but still needed. Here's the best way to do it: Buy some bottles: Meguiars 16 oz. Self Cleaning...
