    3M Headlight Restoration Kit

You need a UV protectant like the Diamondite Clear Plastic Liquid Armor to prevent the reoccurrence of the yellowing/cloudiness of the lenses.

    Pads for DeWalt DWP849X

Thanks. Seems like I spend a lot of time searching threads for pertinent information only to end up with loads of irrelevant results.

    Pads for DeWalt DWP849X

So is it safe to use any foam pad on a rotary as long as I use the correct backing plate? I noticed some pads listed on AG are "DA only". Is there really a difference? Feed back please

    Pads for DeWalt DWP849X

I have a DeWalt DWP849X and the Edge 2000 convoluted double-sided pads and the Edge wool pads. I find the large size of the pads (8") tough to use in certain areas. What other pads can I use with this rotary polisher? I'd like to try 4" to 6" foam pads. Thanks.

GG carries the "Oakley Car Washing Sandals" for $40. Maybe AG should carry some car apparel, too?

    First time using Bissell Proheat

Rebates suck. I've been waiting for a rebate on an unrelated item since the first of the year. If a company is going to offer a rebate, why not just discount the item at the time of purchase?

    Wool pads vs foam

It seems to me that similar color foam pads tend to offer similar performance to a wool counterpart. How do you choose which foam or wool pad to use over the other? :buffing:

    Sirocco Vacuums

Has anyone used the Sirocco vacuum system by Cleaning System Specialists (Sirocco Reclaim Systems) to reclaim water run-off, vacuum, and extract. Sounds like a decent multi-use system that would save a lot of space in a mobile rig.

    Karcher owners, come on in?

I bought the K2.26 Pressure Washer from pressurewashersdirect.com last year and I really like it. One bonus with this package is it comes with a foamer attachment that works really nice. I put 2 ounces of car wash soap in the bottle and fill the rest with water to dilute the solution and...

Anyone Use a Hot Water Pressure Washer?

I stand corrected. It is for converting a cold-water extractor, not a pressure washer. Sorry.

Anyone Use a Hot Water Pressure Washer?

You could spend $2000+ on a new Alkota hot-water pressure washer or spend about $400 on the Mytee 240-120 Hot Turbo in-line water heater. It'll work with any cold-water pressure washer. The biggest drawback is it's another thing to break, and the hook-up might be more work than what it is worth...

    Optima steamer...

Has anyone considered the Daimer Super Max 6000? It's a propane heated high pressure (750 psi) steamer. It'll spray cold water, hot water or wet steam. The video on Daimer's website states a wet steam is preferable to dry steam when using it on exterior surfaces. The additional water content...

    Meguiars Headlight 3" Sanders

You'll need a compressor capable of 15-18 SCFM @ 90 psi to run either tool. I thought about this, too, and came to the conclusion that the Griot's 3" polisher is a suitable alternative.
