    Some people swear by it for the cost but there are better out there especially if you are looking for added gloss.

    The clay might take care of it but if i was you i would go to my local auto parts store and get a can of stoners tarminator. It is cheap insurance to not have to stop and go to the store. I would also definately use a sealant to keep the sap from harming the clear incase you cant clean any off...

    a strong mix or simple green or possible greased lighting if you dont have a dedicated spot treatment might work.

    I would substitute some of the 6.5in pads for some 4s or 5.5s. Once you start polishing you will see the need for them on the smaller areas.

    DP 4 in 1 as quick detailer

    It should be looked at as more of a cleaner quick detailer than one to add gloss. I would also recommend playing with the dilution ratio a bit as it some found it works better with a lighter dilution ratio.

    Wool pads with DA?

    The 3.5 purple foamed wool pads work great on the pc. They also finish up very nicely and you can go straight to your finishing polish and pad with the exception of very strong compounds.

    My first time!

    Just give it some time. By the time you are done with the car you will have alot better understanding of how the polish looks when its broken down. It takes time to master but when you do the results will amaze you.

    As said before, go with the SIP/Nano combo to help with your hard clear coat and you will be good as gold. And don't worry about removing too much clear with the pc. If the car has never been polished before you can polish with the pc many times before you ever need to worry about clear coat...

    Looks good. I haven't used UQD in a while but i loved it for a wipedown on alloy wheels. Gave them a great shine.
