Great list. The PC 7424XP is going to make you VERY happy. Unless you are going to be using it commercially, the 7424XP will do just fine.

Haha...I really trusted that guy too. He did a few beautiful paint jobs for me for free because I send him a lot of business. He made my other 90' Mustang convertible look unbelievable. I guess he isn't as much of a detailer as he is a painter....

Thank you for all your help! Two professional detailers/painters told me that it could not be restored...can't wait to show them the finished product. I'm so glad I could save the paint, since it is the original paint job from 1991! Originality means everything to me! Thank you all!

I actually did try following the instructions in that article, but I needed something to cut the paint a little (megs no. 7 doesn't have any cutting capabilities). It's funny because I had tried turtle wax poloshing compound that my father had a while ago and it just made it worse. Turns out...

I buffed everything out wit the blue pad and M205 (didn't even need the M105). Heres the final result (before and after). I just hope it doesn't come back again! I will know by tomorrow if it will come back, but I'm pretty sure this will solve it. Thank you for all your help!

I got the M105 nd M205 from Albert Kemperle this morning for $50. I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for everyone's help!

Thank you for your reply. I have the lake country pads, but they are CCS pads. I have a set of flat pads that came with the buffer, though. I have the gray one for the final application, but I'm not sure if the other three are the ones I need. One is orange and says Medium Polish, the other...

I'll try those two products. It's worth a shot, especially since it is the original paint job. I would hate to have a non-original paint job since the car is immaculate, other than the paint, and only has 30k on the clock. Really hope that does the trick... Thanks for your input.

Try some powdered laundry detergent. Really work it in with your shoes. That works better than speedy dry and kitty litter usually.

Thanks for your help guys. I'm gonna try and polish it and put some wax on it tomorrow. I'm pretty sure that the hood IS single stage, but I think the rest of the car is clearcoated, so I don't know whats going on there. It looks like the hood has some bondo on it, so maybe it was repainted...

Do you think it is single stage on just the hood or the whole car? I am pretty sure its the original BC/CC from 1991.

Hi. I made a post a week or two ago, but now I have a picture. The hood of my car is oxidized and I used Klasse AIO on it and it dissappeared for about 3 weeks and then it came back. Is there any way I can get rid of this or will it keep coming back? Heres the pic.
