    dust repellant LSP

A little late but of all the waxes, sealants and coatings I've tried, CQuartz does the best at attracting the least amount of dust.

    2012 Lexus IS-F - CQuartz Finest - Presidential Automotive Detailing - FL

First off: Awesome job!!! Reminds me of an M3 I did that the dealership trashed just like that IS-F. Anyway, I have a question since you do the jobs at the clients homes. This job was done over 3 days at the clients home, does the client come out and check on the progress? Does he/she...

    Opti-Coat 2.0 not so permanent...

No. The jeep was just getting cleaned up to be traded in for a new car. Since I had polished it before applying OC it didn't require anything other than a good wash and interior wipe down. And since it's gone already I'll have to try further testing on another vehicle that the OC appears to be...

    Opti-Coat 2.0 not so permanent...

I thought there might be something on it too, so I foamed it with CG Citrus wash and washed it twice. Nothing. I applied enough to see and feel it going onto the car, one panel at a time, in a horizontal and then vertical manner to ensure 100% coverage. I then let it flash off for ~5 minutes...

    Opti-Coat 2.0 not so permanent...

It's after washing that it has zero (and I mean literally zero) beading and sheeting. I know when it's dirty it behaves like this and I thought the same thing, that it was just dirty because normally after removing the dirt, it would go back to beading and sheeting like crazy. This is not the...

    Opti-Coat 2.0 not so permanent...

Well, I've applied Opti-coat 2.0 on 5 vehicles so far. It is completely gone on 2 of them and is already disappearing on a 3rd. I'm not sure what its status is on the other two as I haven't seen those vehicles since applying it. Those three I know for sure have only seen touchless washes or...

My brand new 5.0 has no swirls, what should I do?

Why not try CQuartz? Very, very durable that goes on like a standard wax/sealant and is layerable. I'd use Iron X, very mild clay, CarPro Eraser and then CQuartz. If you want to go standard route, I'd use Iron X, mild clay, paint cleaner such as Pinnacle or Blackfire GEP and then wax/sealant...

    BlackFire Gloss Enhancing Polish question

Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish isn't a polish, its a paint cleaner and glaze combo. Blackfire should really change the name, as the word 'polish', can make it confusing. I personally really like GEP. It's easy to apply and remove and makes the paint feel very clean and smooth (plus it...

    2009 Dodge Journey

Thanks! Yeah, those seats suck. I sprayed heavily with Folex then agitated with a nylon brush and a little APC. Then I sprayed with very hot water and used a Shop-Vac Wet-Vac. I then set a small fan inside the car to move air over the seat and help it dry.

    2009 Dodge Journey

This car belongs to a friend, that after seeing some of the cars I corrected, wanted her's done as well along with a very durable coating as it sits outside 24/7. So I compounded with Megs MF and D300 then polished with Optimum Hyper Polish on LC Tangerine Hydro, then used Opti-Coat 2.0 on...

    Opti-Coat 2.0 Question

Eraser and foam applicators. Opti-Coat comes with one applicator but incase you drop it, you'll want some extras.

Blackfire midnight sun or wet diamond.

If dust is an issue then you won't like bfwd. I haven't tried Fuzion but the few times I've applied Midnight Sun, dust attraction didn't seem to be a problem.

Love bugs shouldn't be a problem, this is a great review in case you missed it. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/34883-review-extreme-testing-opti-coat-2-0-cquartz.html Also, on another forum it was stated by the manufacturer that topping CQuartz actually interferes with...
