Looks great! The clear on mine definitely isn't as hard as on my Camaro or the wife's Equinox (or Corvettes for that matter). I've had very good results using an orange pad with M205 or similar polish as well.

I can't readily say what exhaust is worth on the V6's, but without intake/exhaust I'm doubtful you're going to unlock 30-40 hp just from tuning (especially any type of 'canned' tune). My suggestion is to wait until you can afford the intake and exhaust and then get it dyno-tuned. I believe...

Fair enough on needing additional cut from the D300 and MF. My G8 started out in very good shape so I didn't have to use anything very aggressive (and it's white so that helps too). I haven't had problems with the M105 dusting, but I've read that others have. Possibly I don't work it as long so...

I've had good luck with M105/White pad for compounding and Optimum Hyperpolish or M205 with a white or black bad for finishing on my GXP.
