    Hello from the greater ATL

Welcome as well. Also in greater ATL, the north side. Yes, I have spent countless hours on here soaking up all the info and buying a lot. Did a lot of good work so far this fall on 2 of my cars, but still much to do. Taking a little break while I get some stuff done, but will be back at it soon...

    Ultimate Detailing List of Supplies

Awesome list. Being a newbie myself, this is great for additional stuff. Glad to see I had a lot of stuff you mentioned already (must have been following all your posts)

What do you do with your pressure washer?

+1, +1. I will also do rinsing with 40 degree nozzle.

    Optimum MF Pads

The DA came with a 5" bp, these are 5.25" pads. And I do have a compressor, I did blow them out. This one saw a little action at 5-6, but not much. Maybe 1 section pass.

    Optimum PolySeal quick thoughts

Thanks. Yeah I guess that's what I mean as far as taking longer with the OHC. Don't have a rotary and have been just using the MF pads after 6.25" foam pads that came with the DAP didn't cut it...I don't really like the sprayer that came with OHC either. Sprays sporadically and hard to get right...

    Optimum PolySeal quick thoughts

Vegas, thanks for that. I have OPS as it and Polish II and Compound II came with the Orbital when I ordered. Nobody had talked much about it and I only used it on my first detail before switching over to Colli 845 for the wax. I didn't think OPS did much for taking out swirls and scratches, and...

    Using the app

I also got the mobile upload failure, but I saw that that you noticed there was an update, so I downloaded as well and everything works. The pictures don't insert full size, but the process definitely speeded up with all the enhancements! Very nice. Highly recommend the app now.

    Optimum MF Pads

This is my second Optimum MF compound pad. Barely used this one as you see the fibers are in good shape. But can you see the indent in the middle? I think this one will probably fail shortly as well. Time to try a different brand. Any recommendations?

    Removing adhesive

Waiting on the xenit. Like someone else said, if Mike says it's da bomb, then I'll give it a go.

    Brown spots?

Just an update. What the is artillery fungus? How do you get that on there? Thanks for the ideas, IPA and some elbow grease (about 2 min on each spot) removed all the brown spots from the paint. There is some on the plastic running boards below the door and they are proving harder to remove...

    Using the app

I did get it to work and pull images from my library (iphone) but it won't pull from the camera roll. This is important. Otherwise I have to start the thread before I take the picture or import into my library on the computer. Both an extra step or two at least... Oh and I haven't even bothered...

    Brown spots?

:xyxthumbs: Yeah, usually I put them somewhere else, but that towel was done and that buffing pad failed (as posted on another topic) so there was no point saving it! Cardboard is a good idea. And I'll try some rubbing alcohol and WD-40...
