    Grit Guards & Lowes' 5 gallon buckets

    I live in Central Illinois. I've purchased 5 gallon buckets from Menards, Walmart, Lowes, and Home Depot. The grit guard lodged half-way on all buckets except for Home Depot's. It still lodges about 1/4 an inch from the bottom, though :(

    Yesterday, I polished my car with my PC7424xp with a LC White 5.5 CCS foam pad, mostly on speed 6 with very slight downward pressure (enough to compress the pad slightly, but not enough to slow the rotation). While I didn't notice any smoking from the PC, I did notice a good amount of steam...

    CCS Pads softening up

    Not that it matters other than me just being curious, but how many times have you used the orange pad, and approximately how long did you use it each time? I'm just trying to gauge what to expect, really. I've used my orange pad 4 times, at an average of 1.5 hours of use each time.

    Since you're asking for opinions, I'd cast my vote for the Hyundai Sonata. Great MPH and horsepower (for a 4 cylinder) and great styling improvement from the previous model year.

    Disappointing experiance with LC CCS pads purchased from autogeek

    Yikes. I used UC on my entire car with one 5.5 LC Orange pad a couple of weeks ago, but did not experience this. 4 pads is recommended??
