    I'm done with Autogeek.

I have been ordering products from autogeek for 5 years now. Last year I ordered a gallon of Maguire's 105. Usually everything I order through autogeek and marine31 takes a day for delivery. On the day I expected my delivery I instead get an email stating that autogeek is out of the gallon...

    I turned down a customer and I don't care....

I have a full hands on car wash that recently opened up within the area I mostly do work which I am happy about. Many people stop me and ask how much for a full detail. I only do Restorative Detailing, bringing every inch of the car back to showroom condition, and that goes for RVs as well...

Removed clear bra, now how to get adhesive off...?

I don't have any experience with the Titan Blades but I looked them up and they appear to be durable than other plastic blades. I have heard good things about the 3M Adhesive Remover... WD40 works on just about everything. The clear shield I remove have a stronger adhesive backing than...

Removed clear bra, now how to get adhesive off...?

You can a decent set of plastic chisels from Harbor Frieght. Get some Tarminator, spray it on and let it set for about 30 seconds and repeat. Been taking Diamond Shield and 3M clear bras off RVs for awhile now and found this to be the best solution. Once you're done you'll have to buff out the...

    Least favorite detail job

I detail cars and RVs. I really dislike neglected gelcoats, especially gelcoats where previous owners applied Poli-Glo at one time and has started peeling.

    Pad washing time frame

The longer you wait, the more difficult it is to get them clean. I would never place them overnight in a bucket to soak for fear of the Velcro backing coming loose. I think the pad washers are a waste of money because you can get them cleaner, faster by doing them by hand.

303 Aerospace Protectant for coating RV

Gel-Gloss wash and wax is a great product to use, formulated especially for gel coats. Use the stuff every 4-6 months and it will help protect your finish including the decals. I know several people who have used it and their RVs have held up well. 303 for the roof and tires.

    Critics

So, today I was compounding an RV that was heavily oxidized. I have my rotary out, wool pad and I am using Presta Super Cut compound which removes 600 grit sand scratches. The end results are fabulous. There are some contractors working next door and one of the workers comes over and says he...
