Here's something most people will never see!!

I thought they were called horse blankets? I never heard the term saddlebags, but I may have missed that one. You have quite a nice collection there killr, and I am quite impressed by it. :righton: Mine is not quite as exotic as yours, but here are some of the ones I like the best.

What's the best towel for a small car?

The Supreme Guzzler is what I use on my Civic. Works just fine and the size is right.

No, apply the AW between the 105 layers removing each coat. I left the 105 on for about 45 minutes before removing. I did the Yukon with 24 hours between each coat only because I was off work all this week, but the car I waited ~12 hours between each.

Thanks guys. sparkie: I love DG. It's the easiest I've worked with it as far as application and removal, even in full sun. And it looks great too. :D Truls & alban61: I did notice a difference in appearance and in slickness, but as far as it being a BIG difference, I guess it depends on your...

    Detailed: 2004 Yukon XL

Well, I finally got a chance to start detailing my truck again after getting it back from the body shop after my wife's little 'mishap' and here it is. Products used were XMT 3 & 1, DG 601, DG 105 (3 coats) & DG AW (2 coats). For the trim and tires I used 303.

You knew it was bound to happen! :)

I'm thankful for the family I was born into and for the family that I now have. I am also thankful to have a job, and for having a job that has allowed me to take this whole week off and be with my family.

Thanks Al. It is quite a compliment coming from you. Kind of like the student getting kudos from the master. :awesome:

Thanks for the compiments. :D Yes, I definitely prefer the 105 over the EX-P. A little goes a long way, comes off super easy, and I prefer the look and slickness over the EX-P. As for the difference between the SSR and XMT, I like the XMT better as it seemed to dust much less than the SSR. I...

    (Re)Detailed: 2000 Honda Civic

While my first attempt on the Civic turned out just fine, I thought I would try out some new products, namely Duragloss. In the past I used PB's EX-P with Natty's Blue on top after polishing with SSR 2.5 & 1. For these pictures I used XMT 3 & 1 (had a few new scratches that needed to be worked...

    What's best for glass?

I've always used Sprayway glass cleaner with great results. My wife loves the stuff around the house, too, FWIW.

    Identity theft...Unauthorized purchase.

I'm not the only one that has had fraudulent activity on their cc? :D Mine was on my Visa, which I hardly ever use (only have it for places that don't take AMEX) and like Xterra, just happened to check my balance one day, and where I usually have about $20 a month charged to it, I had $3500...

This is scaring me.. Habeus Corpus is now out the window..

Wow, this is off topic. :D No need to be scared. First of all, if you ever listen to Olbermann he is a complete moron that should go back to talking about sports as I think all he likes to do now is string together as many syllables as possible to make himself sound intelligent. Secondly, this...

Well, I WAS detailing my 04 Yukon XL.....

Thanks for your condolences everyone. Needless to say when she first told me about I was rather upset to say the least, and the funny thing was that I was hoping it wasn't going to be too bad, because she called me while I was at work to tell me about it (probably so I wouldn't blow up if she...

Well, I WAS detailing my 04 Yukon XL.....

....but it seems as though a street sign jumped out at my wife when she was dropping our girls off at a volleyball game. It managed to scrape up my front headlight, fender, drivers door and rear door handle. Here was the outcome of that little encounter: As you can see I had a...
