Thanks for the info. I put on 2 coats yesterday about 2 hours apart (humidity ~15% ). Car looks great so i just put another thin layer on, seems to layer very well and with multiple coats it takes even less BFCS and time for additional coats

Just purchased some BFCS and have a few questions: How long for the BFCS to cure How soon can a second thin coat be applied(one spray per panel) Thanks for any feedback

it sounds like zanio clear seal i tried on my black vette a few years ago - small amount misted onto the paint, spread and your done.

let me know how it works on your GS, I use simple green now on the huge amount of brake dust on my GS

I use the Wolfgang Deep Gloss sealant on my C6, great look and easy to apply/remove

Quick question - can Optimum spray wax be used as you are drying you car or is it best on a dry surface? I normally use hydro but am out but I do have a bottle of unused Optimum. Thanks

Steve, I would join the corvetteforum and go to the Regional section - ask for recommendations from members for a paint/body shop. You might also look to see if there is a local Corvette Club and ask for recommendations. Folks are always asking for top paint and body shops in the Houston area...

I just picked up a 2013 Grand Sport and experienced the same thing using Mothers clay. the paint was not bad, due to being new, but you could still feel some debris with the baggie. the Mothers clay improved it a little but definitely not smooth. I moved on to polishing with Menz4500
