ONR will not remove wax or sealant from your car. For longer lasting protection in a spray wax, I recommend Optimum Car Wax. Just as fast as UQW but lasts much longer. UQW is more of a "top-up" whereas OCW is designed to protect like a regular wax.

Using ONR on fresh paint shouldn't present any problems at all. You may want to mix some up and have it in a spray bottle also so you can pre-soak the bugs and allow them to soften up for a few minutes to make them easier to remove when you wash them off.

AND... your addiction begins! :buffing: The Meg's glaze will probably be unnecessary since you're removing the swirls and polishing the paint. Besides, Meg's glaze was developed for single stage paint so you may see little to no difference in a base coat/clear coat finish. Have fun!

I agree w/Ski2. No need for a glaze since it shouldn't be necessary since you are removing swirls and scratches. I like Opt Hyper Compound and polish but I've used Meg's UC and UP with good results, even on black paint. Hope you post some pics!

Sounds like a plan. With all due respect, I see no need for an IPA wipe down unless you are applying a coating or trying to remove polishing oils and such.

LSpec: I just used #26 Hi-Tech wax yesterday. It's been sitting on my shelf for a long time and I'm trying to use up my "lonely" products. It's a good hybrid wax that's easy on, easy off with nearly zero dusting.
