How much do you charge for a one-step exterior detail?

I'm at about 4-5 hours depending on wheel conditions. First 2-3 hours is prep, washing, cleaning wheels, wells, jambs iron and decon. Polishing is quick going through 4-5 pads, I don't clean them on the fly, just swap out.

How much do you charge for a one-step exterior detail?

I start at $180 for cars, unless you bring me a lux liner like a Lincoln Towncar, trucks, $280. I also through in iron decon during the process.

    Rain x or expel

I've used both as well as car pro and IGL window coatings. I have IGL right now but keep Rain-X around for people that i do quick details for. I might be lazy or who knows but I spray the windshield with rain-x before washing, then wash the car, no after buffing.

    Question about coatings

Waste, the reason for the second coat is to ensure even coverage. CP is one of the big companies that boosts needing multiple coats. I think this goes along with the guys who offer 30 step details, it's just flashy show.

I bought the punch, going to punch some out, however I need to figure out how to thin the pads, I think a full thickness pad would be too much.

Best products to detail a 2017 Charger Daytona?

When it comes to the matte stripes, tape them off with painters tape and make sure, very, super sure not to hit them with a polisher. Once they shine, they shine forever! I coat them with IGL Kenzo as it doesn't make them shine, it does alter the look a little but it makes them deeper. There...

Best products to detail a 2017 Charger Daytona?

Hey man, nice ride! I had the pleasure of taking care of a new mango cat last week. I did clay it, as I clay all my details. I followed up with menz 2500 with a white hybrid pad. I coated it after with IGL Kenzo. Turned out beautiful. I did my own cat with the same combo and a SCAT pack as...

    Hybrid vs. Hybrid Force Pads

I have several, in white, orange and gray. I for the life of me cannot get the gray pads to work for me. I have used Menz 400 and 2500 with the gray pad, the pad seems to bounce around and produce inconsistent product dispersion. The white pads work phenomenal with Megs reconditioning cream...

    Hot water extractor recommendations

I have a mytee lite 2. Great tool, I really like the upholstery tool for seats, I find it does a good job at not spraying everywhere. I use only water in my unit, and pre-spray my material. I use a floor drier to quickly dry the material after i am done, this also keeps wicking to a minimum.

Menzerna One-Step Polish 3IN1 how agressive is it (using on 3 year old car)

I am not familiar with the product and can't recommend a glaze except for Megs Show car glaze. From the product description what you have should work just fine! Description does say it should be used for dark colors.........

Menzerna One-Step Polish 3IN1 how agressive is it (using on 3 year old car)

I can't imagine doing a vehicle by hand, regardless of the pad. You won't be consistent with pressure and passes. You might be better off using a filling glaze by hand and calling it a day.
