    Meguiars buys 3D

Just spit-balling here, but I think having at least some degree of dust is a natural and expected byproduct of compounding. All of those spent abrasives and removed paint have to go somewhere! Sure you can make a compound dust less by adding oils or other such things to the formula that keeps...

    07 Ferrari F430/ 06 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG, 22PLE, Opti-glass Pro

First and foremost, I have to thank Alex for bringing me in on this job; it was truly a pleasure to work with another like-minded professional on two amazing automobiles such as these. Since you've read this far, you're already familiar with the products and processes we used so I will simply...

130 hour restoration detail - Bentley GT (Auto Concierge & Immaculate Reflections)

I was rather astounded and confused when I saw Bob post on Autopia.org that Jeff would no longer be working with him on any future projects. At the time, I hadn't seen the thread on this forum. Now, I think I may understand a bit better what's going on. It's amazing to me the attitudes that...

    M101 Foam-Cut Compound - Thank you Gregory!

D300 has silicones in it (not body shop safe), and I've been able to uncover defects with IPA/Eraser after using it. Purely by nature that would seem to indicate it fills somewhat. Sure did. I'm surprised you haven't used yours yet!

    M101 Foam-Cut Compound - Thank you Gregory!

No worries; actually if you really want some good background on how to effectively make use of M101, you should talk to Kevin Brown. :props: Definitely takes some effort to obtain, that's for sure.

    M101 Foam-Cut Compound - Thank you Gregory!

There are a number of differences between D300 and M101, Bobby. I wouldn't even begin to equate the two with one another quite honestly. D300 fills, M101 doesn't. M101 cuts significantly more/faster than D300 M101 does dust a little bit in some situations, but it doesn't dust anywhere near as...

My latest Business card (what do you think?)

Are you fully licensed to perform mechanical repairs? Often there are stricter requirements for that and huge fines if your shop is not properly approved and/or you don't have a mechanic license/ASE certification. Might want to check that out with the state before advertising that sort of...

The Uber expensive waxes...what are they REALLY?

Evidently you haven't done all of your homework. Search around, there is plenty of technical information and demonstrated proof of what we're talking about, here. (Note that much of it exists outside of this particular forum/site, but it's not hard to find.) Sorry, but "paint and body guys"...

    Wally World stepping up.....

Wow! That makes me slightly jealous. Love the grammatical error on that one box/display though: "USE WHAT THE PRO'S USE" That apostrophe should not be there.
