Some photo's from when I helped my good buddy Eric get his 01 Cobra cleaned up the day before the American Muscle Show this past Saturday . I did do a light correction on this car back in June ,since then it had some severe wash marks from some not so good MF and wash technique ,he has and is working on improving both .I should add that I'm just a hobbyist and I too am ever trying to improve my own technique in all phases of detailing . He jumped in and helped with allot of enthusiasm , one would think everyone would act as he did when its their car ,unfortunately I have not found this to be true with everyone . But if it wasn't for him helping ,my old beat up body I wouldn't of finished it in the time we did lol .His excitement made me want to go the extra mile .I'm sure you've experienced both personality types . It makes for a long darn day when the person you're trying to help is a complete downer ,to put it nicely . This boggles my mind , why someone wouldn't be upbeat to say the least , when you have a machine in your hand and you've donated your time and all products , LOL ...I guess.........

The new BFTT&T was used on his trim that was badly faded and blotchy .
When I first tried it on my daily a couple weeks ago it didn't seem to have the darkening effect I like on first impressions ,as well as the included yellow foam applicator didn't seem to work well , for me at least .But I noticed it got at least a shade darker 24 hours after application , looking perfect IMHO and no bleeding on the paint during rain making it not only great in the looks department but performance is great as well .I found an MF applicator worked much better for me . It's a definite keeper in my arsenal now .

Products used were UWW+ as rinseless ( LOVE Ultima as rinseless ,thanks Troy:), Yellow /Orange LC flat pads w/ OPT Compound II and Hyper Polish ,BF TT&T ,PERL , P21s Metal soap and BF CS as LSP , Interior was treated with DG 221 ... . I think it showed nice at the AM Show , as did he .

Sorry for this being so long . I have to say MUCH respect for those whom have done and do extensive reviews , as this takes allot of time just loading pic's and typing , not to mention stopping to take photo's during the detail .It is fun for sure though .Thanks for looking . Oh BTW , this car for sale .

Amazing work on that pony you really made that black pop

Glad to see you posting Daren. Having trouble viewing from my cell down at the river while cat fishing. Dirty Boy is doing awesome with the commands I've taught him so far. I'll be sure to visit this post from the house tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the compliments ! It is a nice car , he's torn between selling and getting an 04 Cobra or building the motor . I don't think he could do much different on how it sits , one tough looking ride , the rear shoes are perfect IMO . Hopefully someday I'll be able to find the money for some new rims to get that look.. If I could stop spending money here it would happen sooner lmao ... Awesome Dave , I have no doubt he's coming along nicely ,and more then likely further along then he should be due to your passion for training . You know I'm here to help any way I can brotha...

Looks awesome!

The car looks very nice. Lots of time consuming and tedious work goes into making an all black car look that good. If anyone would know...you would...:xyxthumbs: Good to hear that he was an enthusiastic helper too.:dblthumb2:

You should come up to the detailing get together in Philadelphia (West Chester), that "Detail Kitty" has put together for September 6th and 7th. It would be really nice to see you again, and I'll have "Dirty Boy" with me too.

Thanks allot Dave :) , It was a clean car to begin with , just 60K on the clock , but the normal wear and tear from lesser quality products . Eric stepped up his game in all phases and is good to go now .

That looks to be allot of fun , I'll have to try an make that , WC isn't to far from me . I'm getting decent results , but for sure have allot of improving to do and would love to see you do some panels again and some other peeps ... Thanks for the invite .
