It took 4hrs of work total, quite a lot of vacuuming before starting.

I'm surprised Folex didn't work. How exactly did you use it?

The owner said they were some type of chemical dyes from where they work.

Folex worked very well on 99% of the stains.

Nice work considering what you had to work with!!! Quite an improvement.

What kind of steam are you using I got a bissel spot shot steamer, and I'm wanting to step up my interior work but I'm on a budget

Nicely done! Looks like your starting point was just about par for the course with most of the interiors I do. Nasty, nasty!

Worst one I ever did, I found fried chicken bones just tossed under the drivers' seat and left there to rot. :hungry:

Oh ok, gotcha! I agree with Detail Dave 100%.

The use of the smiley here was perfect! You literally made me laugh out loud!

Hey there,

just thought I'd chime in. First off, I think you did a really nice job. I WISH I had a steamer lol...but considering I don't I thought I'd throw in a couple things that I've used and have had very good luck with.

A couple things that have helped me a LOT with interiors (and dont cost an arm and a chicken bone :) ) is the white bristle brush attachment for my PC...and Oxyclean. I'm not an 'as seen on TV' kinda person, but the stuff works really well, isnt that expensive and can be found almost anywhere.

Here is a write up I did on a Dodge Durango interior my sister and I did a week or 2 ago. It didn't have chemical spills in it like yours...or birds nests lol, but it did have the drive shaft inside the cab. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/28350-nasty-dodge-durango-interior-lots-pics.html

Needless to say, it was pretty nasty, but check out the before/after pics and you can see how well the Oxyclean (or Oxymoron as we call it lol) and the PC brush attachment helped. Its not a big investment at all especially compaired to a steamer or heavy duty extractor like you've got...but it comes in really handy with bad spots like what you were dealing with.
