Only had some very light swirls so I went with M205 and Megs Yellow pad on 5. Finished off with UW and the Megs Black pad.

Wanted to go ahead on polish it out good. :xyxthumbs:

The sun wasn't nice to me for the photos, but it was for the polishing but you can get the idea. :)

UW is, to me, an underrated product. With the right prep, it looks fantastic. It even looks good on average paint. It actually lasts in my experience, which cannot be said of Meg's LSP of the past. It does do some filling as well, which is nice.

Seems to be slick as heck as well.

That's a good lookin' pick-em-up truck! :autowash::dblthumb2:

Thanks. :)

Will put the 2nd coat of UW on it tomorrow then follow up with M26 on Sat if the weather holds.

It wasn't in bad shape at all, went over it before with UC and UP and got most of it all out, but I did it quick so it wasn't as good as I could have been.

This time I took my time and I had the time so that was a good thing and using M205 this time really made the difference I think.

It is very underrated for some reason, I really like it personally.

And that's coming form a long time NXT user.

And it's extremely easy to use if done correctly, put it on thin and it works really well.

I loved NXT as well, but after trying UPW, I was so freakin happy with it. Part of me really wants to try out the Black Wax from Chemical Guys though.

Edit: you did a fantastic job on the ram.

Yep, UW is really some good stuff. :xyxthumbs:

And it can be applied in full sun, even nicer.

Looks nice, I think you and I are in love with the 205:dblthumb2:

Great polish job on a white truck. Hard to get good reflections in white.

However, you really need to get that dent fixed. :poke: ha I've seen your truck pop up a few times in here and with the truck all polished up like that it sticks out like a sore thumb.

The truck's an 05....

It happened back in 06 when some stupid idiot women backed into me in a packing lot......

And it was in a borrowed vehicle with out of state plates and the owner wouldn't give insurance information..... Don't ask, it was a nightmare....

And it would have cost like $700 to fix it... But I didn't want any bondo on my truck so the whole door skin would have had to be replaced... That would have cost much more and I would have had to file with my insurance to get it done on top of that.....

Thats pretty darn shady dude. Sorry to hear that. Was she at least cute? lol

She was trailer trash.... And looked like a boozer and drug addict....

Doesn't matter what she looked like....

Yeah I had some lady hit me and say she wasn't going to give me her insurance information. I said okay! Called the highway patrol, they got there, sat her in the back of the car, and handed me her insurance card.

She was still driving it, and she was still financially responsible. Her insurance company, if she had insurance, would cover it. Or whoever owned the car. Otherwise, there are ways to get it paid for through the courts. You're a nicer guy than me for letting her off that easy. She chose to drive the car, she is responsible for what happens next!

No insurance.....

Good luck on that one as I found out.....

And on Welfare to boot....

So in the end it would have cost me a lot more to have it fixed if I would have pushed it....

My own insurance with raised rates over a number of years minus the deductible....

Plus the lawyers fees to sue her and or the owner that lived out of state......

What a horrible experience. It was bad from the very start. It happened to my girls car too, but the chick backed into her and instead of stopping she bailed. Hit and run, we were stuck with a bent hood. I hate her 02 pontiac anyway, next year im entering it into a skid plate race and buying her an elantra. hahaha

Edit: If you havnt heard of skid plate racing, look up "skid plate racing irwindale" it is so much fun.
