Hello, hope everyone is doing great!
This Silverado we have been working on for almost a year
The owner was going to sell the truck for scrap
before taking the decision of the rebuild
He wanted a daily drive street truck
Yesterday actually was the first engine start after the rebuild!
Long story short
Engine and other modifications:
Texas speed lsx454 engine
4link suspension
4l60 upgraded trans by rpm transmission
And alot more!
All new oem gm parts + new interior
Sand blasted the chassis and repainted
Polishing stage:
Rupes 21 III Excel detailing 5in backing plate
Flex pxe80
Sonax cutmax - coarse wool pad
Griots fcc - griots white foam pad 3in
Finish:
Ex04-06 - Rupes yellow wool polishing pad / 3in foam yellow
I was planning on a third step specially when its
My first time using the Rupes yellow wool pad didn’t know what to expect . The finish turned much better than what I thought so an extra step wouldn’t add any
Some area where sanded to remove the orange peal textures 1500/2000/3000
