Here is one of the latest details at Status Auto Detailing!

This was a full paint correction. I believe I used 105 with a 6" orange lc pad on the dewalt rotary. I followed that with 205 and a 5" white pad on the DA. I think I added another polishing step with 205 and a 5" gray pad.

This was one of the most difficult corrections I've ever done. The paint was extremely soft and very slightly faded and heavily swirled. I wish I had before pics.

If I could do it again I think I would try to do all the correction with my porter cable DA.

It was very difficult to remove the buffer trails after compounding.

I wonder how M101 would have done with an orange pad and the porter cable? Perhaps that would have been aggressive enough for defect removal on this soft paint. Any suggestions here? I've thought about switching to 101.

Nice work. Subaru black paint is so difficult to work with. The only benefit is that I can usually remove most defects on my black Subaru paint with 205 on a LC white or hydrotech pad.

This thing was in poor condition for an 07. I couldn't remove the defects with 205 alone but, looking back, I'm thinking 105 or 101 on the DA instead of the rotary might have done it.

It looks nice!

After pictures are much more effective with "Before" and "During" photos to compliment the improvement.

I find taking the time to take the Before, During, and After pictures is well worth it because it is some of the best advertising you could possibly do.

Customers tell me they loved seeing the write ups I post on my site because you can really tell the transformation the vehicle undergoes and the amount of time and work that goes into it... just a bunch of shiny after photos would not be able to display your true abilities.

I absolutely agree. I do have some before and afters on my site, but nothing like yours. I have a great photographer buddy, now, that is going to help me up the quality of my pics.

That'll be great! Always nice to know the right people!

Heck with the car....I like the garage....Post some pictures of your setup! :Picture::props:

I'll try to do that in the near future. I've done a lot to it since those pics. Thanks man!
