07 z-oh-6 soap tip

no doubt, i love suds. have to have them. but when you add that strong stream of water to the bucket with the soap added first, its suds overload!! waste of product. then you end up adding more water. by adding the water first, then the soap, you can control how much suds. this worked like a charm this morning. never had to add more water.

The best way to do it is:

1.-Place the majority of your total water in the bucket.

2.-Place the soap into the bucket.

3.-Use your CLEAN arm to fully mix the solution.

4.-Finish with a jet of water offset from the center of the bucket to continue the swirling water motion. Apply just enough water to reach the dilution you want (which also activates the suds).

5.-Drop your Grit Guard into the bucket.

I post a video of this method in most of the car wash reviews I do.

My method is better. :p

This is definitely great if you can only fill up using a hose, although I like to use warm water so I put the soap in first, fill using both hot and cold taps in the garage while giving it a swirl then blast with the hose outside to get suds.

Is it me or is there way too much thought going into this. After I put my soap in first and there was way too many suds, I poured the water first the next time.

Over thinking this?

Probably but then sometimes people need reminders on the right thing to do since they are not focused on the task..sorta like when local TV stations tell people to dress warmly when going out in the cold or drive slowly on ice. It seems obvious when you think about it.

Although some think suds are essential part of getting the soap mixed and needed for good cleaning..not true..so it does dispel some myths.

Let's see. Is there anything else we can discuss about putting water and soap in a bucket?:p
