1 of 300 Plum Crazy SRT8s - Corrected & Opti-Coated

Great job as always Wills! You have been getting nice cars lately!

Not only a great turnaround, but an excellent documentation of the process (unless I missed it though, not a listing of products used).

Really a great job and documentation. I'm one of the few that thinks that car is one the the ugliest ever made and the color atrocious. Even with that in mind you made it one gorgeous plum! Well done to both of you and I hope Dani's headache went away.

Another incredible job you guys. Keep up the outstanding work!

Definitely! I just found the "before" pictures of this Escalade we did last summer...i was so upset because i thought i had lost em...now that i found the drive it was on, ive GOTTA do a write up on it...black, hammered and 48 hours of work...oh yeah...keep an eye out for this one :)

Nice work!! :xyxthumbs:

Thank you :)

:applause:
:urtheman: (and woman)

Unbelievable recovery, great writeup and photos, you and your sister work very well together.

Beautiful job!!!! :applause:

We definitely have a synergy going between us. If we continue to grow maybe one day we can hire a staff...that'll be the weird part though, finding someone who can mesh well with us. But for now...2 will do :)

awesome awesome job:)

Thank you so much:dblthumb2:

Nice job!

Thank you :)

Awesome job. Where'd you grab that dyna-brade attachment from?

I actually grabbed it 2nd hand from another detailer...now that i have the 21mm Rupes from Mr BuffDaddy, it will hopefully not be getting used as much. That is a LOT of weight between the Makita and a 2lbs stainless head! If you do want it im sure you can find it online if you search.

You and your Sis working together. So cool.

BTW: great work.

For years and years! We keep eachother in line :) And thank you!

As usual Team A knocks another one out of the park!
Great job Wills & Dani!

Thanks Robert! Was a fun detail...man its getting warm out here though...i have my farmers tan going...i miss the days when i was a teen and didnt care what ppl though if i was working with my shirt off lol...now i have to be all "professional"

Like I posted on Autopia Wills, great work as usual and yes, I love the chargers. My warrior as you can see!

I have had since 2005 and yes I am a mopar guy. Amazing job as usual. You two are doing great and that's awesome to see. Keep up the great work.

AWESOME set up...thats sweet hahaha. If i could find a damn Express 1500 van for sale id pick it up...all seem to be over 150k miles or over what i want to spend..but i love the charger and the logo!

Nice job as usual. Notice you've been OC a lot. May want to look into the pro version OG.

We do use the pro version...they now call it Opti-Coat Pro...rather than Opti-Guard (i think OG is actually their fabric protection actually)....they changed the name. But yeah...been using the pro grade for quite a while now :)

Excellent! Thanks for taking the time to post all the pics and descriptions as well.

No problem...always glad to share our work and what we did to overcome certain obstacles ...hope it helps someone along the way :)

Amazing color, gorgeous work yet again, How's that tent work for you ?

Its ok...its only a 10x10 but...it helps...we had a tree infront of us also that helped as much as the tent lol. It's not a full shade set up but it can help at least get most of the top panels shaded...a 12x12 would probably be better...but is just too big...most times if we have no shade..we start early and work a bit faster lol

AWESOME JOB on the srt8. I love the srt model line. Probably me most favorites are the chargers and the Neon. Also love that color, it pops!

I had NO clue they only made 300 of them...but the owners told us and then they had a little plaque on the inside that said "2**/300" ...that was pretty awesome.

I have to say Wills.......you and Dani made a home run on this one!

The last 2 photos are just awsome reflection shots.......the car was cool ,now its Really COOL!

Great job Dani and Wills........just outstanding work.

There really is a world beyond the wax.......thanks for sharing!

Hell yes there's a world beyond the wax! Really trying to get people to understand that lol...we're making progress though!

I had to snap those last couple pics..that was after the wash and the time of day was just perfect...they turned out pretty nice :)

Great job as always Wills! You have been getting nice cars lately!

Thanks Marc...dude..ive gotta show you this Camaro we went to bid today...i'll just say this...chrome plated ROTORS...and 24k gold plated undercarriage...i'll show you later :)

Not only a great turnaround, but an excellent documentation of the process (unless I missed it though, not a listing of products used).

I thought i put it but, we used 105 to cut..101 in some areas, and the 205 to polish with. UTTG was used on trim. Was there anything else you needed to know product wise?

What does something like that cost?

Honestly depends upon the detailer and the area. For us we start at about $500 for a multi-step correction like this...then you tack on Opti-Coat Pro and it'll be about $700-750 minimum. We had to work our way up to that price though...about 18 months ago we probably would have done it for $300 less...but OC price has gone up and our skill and reputation has gone up too :)

Great job you two! Nice removal of the defects.

Thank you!

Really a great job and documentation. I'm one of the few that thinks that car is one the the ugliest ever made and the color atrocious. Even with that in mind you made it one gorgeous plum! Well done to both of you and I hope Dani's headache went away.

Lol, i really was diggin the color. We've done a cpl cars and it was kinda like...wow..really the paint is that color? But in the end....when its swirl free...its all good :)

And yes her headache is much better...worried me for a minute but like i said, shes tough

These epic threads again. Amazing job you two.

You two make a great team, producing some OUTSTANDING results. I always enjoy reading and looking at your posts. Awesome work as usual!
