I'm really glad the C7 has taken such a great leap forward in interior quality but the fact that everyone says this is the problem when you think about it. Going back decades the interior has been a let down compared to its competition. Back in 1984 the car was called a "world class sportscar", remember the "life begins at 150" campaign? Going forward the interior bits were always a harder plastic type, things you touched felt cheap, then there were the seats, a Dodge Neon SRT4 back in 2003 had better seats, really, a cheap, sub $20k compact car, pathetic! I remember watching 5th gear and they had the 60th anniverary 427 convertable and they found all the squeaks and rattles, terrible and embarassing IMO, we've gotta do better and stop holding onto this "best bang for the buck" thing. Sure its not going to be a hand made Ferrari costing $250-300K and doesn't need to be, just make a quality piece and do what you do best and let the comparisons come natrually, ok.
