Decided to make my own Dolly after seeing the prices online for one. Made it from scrap 3/4" plywood and 2x4s. The wheels are 2.5inch casters from home depot, 2 locking, 2 regular. Going to put a couple coats of plasti dip and call it done.

Haha, nice! :xyxthumbs:

I'd go a step further and spray it with a bed liner.

I made something similar but used diamond plate instead of wood. A bit more expensive than wood but still much cheaper than the ones for sale :)

Very creative. The two bucket dolley and connector is so valuable IMO. It doubles as a detailing seat and rolling cart. It triples as a ride for my son around the house - he sits on one bucket and I push the other one, lol.

Awesome idea I've been waiting to find something like this to pop up! The dollys online are ridiculous.

Clever! I bought a dolly for ten bucks on sale at Harbor Freight a couple weeks ago. I was thinking of doing something like you did but I wanted a larger container for my wash solution so I bought a heavy duty ten gallon storage container at the dollar store for about seven dollars. I drilled a rail in the dolly to hold the container (this way I can slide it off easily) and used a bungee cord to secure the rinse bucket. I like my set up but I think for a normal two bucket dolly you have a great idea.

Very cool idea. I like how simple it is and it still acheives it's purpose. I thought of an idea; how about adding another level to it? So you get another plank of plywood, cut two more large holes for the buckets, add posts to support, then bore smaller holes to put brushes into, etc. Also a simple towel rack to hang your mitt or MF towel.

Just a thought. It's good as it is and serves the purpose, so good job! :props:

Thanks guys, and AC I like that idea. I did go ahead and spray paint it with Rustoleum Leak Seal flexible rubber coating.

Great lil Invention..

and Considering My family owns a large Lumber yard I have Plywood and 2x4 at my disposal and since It's going to rain tomorrow Instead of heading into my office Im going to keep it at the house ( the beauty of Real Estate) and build one of these

Luckily I have 2 sets of casters I can use from an old Jeep Hard top Holder I built same as you two locking and two regular..

Again Thanks you just made a great rainy day project for me! :props:
