Great idea and it looks awesome. As Ac said drill two holes and install a PVC rack for towels etc. upgrade options are endless!

Great thread. Nice work, OP!

Great idea.....what keeps buckets from slipping through to ground?
Probably obvious, but I'm not seeing??

The buckets are tapered so it slides down until tight.

OK....makes sense. Thought that might be the case. I'm going to attempt to build.
Thanks for the post and nice job.

Just sit the bucket on the plywood and trace the bottom, then cut inside the line, then the hole will be tight around the base of the bucket.

Good idea, and it looks great too. I toyed with an idea similar, but ended up using a plastic garden garden cart that I had instead. It 'works', but I should have a brake on it.

That's really nice! I almost made one exactly like yours. However, I changed the design because I didn't want to spend the cash to buy an electric saw to cut the holes, as I would likely never use it again - and the whole point was to do it cheap.

So, on mine the bucket sits on the platform, and these steel arms I mounted hold the buckets in place. So, because I had to buy the hardware it ended up costing a bit more, maybe $30. The base started as a furniture dolly from Harbor Freight for ten bucks.

Grey work! Great idea! I love when people make stuff like this at home and post it.

Two great ideas.
Now someone needs to show home made low cost rolling seat. I need Ideas for one.

About how heavy are these? I am mobile so I'd have to pick it up out the van. Just wondering before I build my own .

You could use 1x4s and cut weight in half

Decided to take it one step further after using it for first time, realized it needed a handle and place to hang hose with foam gun, spray bottles, and towels...
