Hi folks. Thought I'd share this little project. Local owner. Been in a garage for 30 years. Did the 'ol #7 rub down and soak. A light polish with Speed and topped with a good carnuba. Owner was very happy with the results considering the condition it was in before I got it.

The last couple of pics are of the client's and my Corvette.... was cool to see what happens in 50 years....

Thanks and enjoy.

Ryan

First and foremost...you did an amazing job! When I read the intro I was expecting a less dusty and clean car, NOT thatThe mid-year Corvette coupe is my car ever, it doesn't get any better. I know you said you parked your Corvette next to it but I only see the C3 (no offense)

Quick question though, why does it sit like a 4 x 4

Nice work on the detail, like Klasse act says...what its with the stance, it's all jacked

It's also unusual with 8" Corvette rallies

Awesome job! Corvettes are personally not my cup of tea, still deserves respect for the detailing work on a good turn around

AWESOME work, Ryan!! :urtheman::righton:

Rags to riches! I wasn’t sure what to expect for the afters, but the actual results are better than I imagined. Love those C2s.

Thanks for the kind words... I was very proud of how it turned out. Not often I get to work on not only a cool car, but SS paint as well.

As for the stance... well, not sure but I'm I quiting now. Lol. I did notice some front spring work. A wedge of sorts, in the spring to keep it the same height. Ill get back to ya.

Thanks friend. We'll, as I said to klasse... I'm not sure. Owner got it running and safe and let me have it. I'm asking around about the stance. Lol

Right. Me and a buddy were saying the same thing. When dad got divorced, he got a C3.... 1974... reminds me of those wheels instead of the single lug type. Idk.

Awesome job!

Way to bring back that OG paint. Looked like a bit of work.

For the job that was done, hope you were compensated well.

Yeah the C3 was a wider, lower design so the 8" rallies fit better, although with the right offset and/or massaging, a 8" wide wheel CAN fit those wells of a C2 and look "correct".

Yeah those wedges, metal or rubber, were popular years ago but on a Corvette, why? The rear leaf had to have been modded too. I'm not sure who owns it now buy the previous person might have a rosey area below their hair line and visit the Opry from time to time. Either way, the G.O.A.T shouldn't look like it's about to do the Dakar rally
