Hey everyone, been a while since I posted because I have been extremely busy at the shop. Anyway I prepped this car for show in the Poconos last week. I asked the owner what Award he was going for ( people's choice) since it is slightly modified. After not hearing his name for 3rd, 2nd place he figured he was out of it. Then he heard his name called for first. It was reported to be the biggest turnout ever. I'm very happy (obviously) with the results.
The paint on this car was challenging (read soft), finicky, like BMW jet black.

Congrats to both you and the owner! Car looks great...we need more pics!

I will post another pic or two soon as I figure this out. I do around 110 cars a year, all exotic and vintage exotic, a few hot rods at a place called Switchars in in Ohio and with a couple other collectors of same. The website is Switchcars.com. Been deleting pics because I'm just running out of room on my iPad. My Facebook page is Final Approach Detailing which just got up last week.

Cool car!
Brought back some memories:

OH! the FUN I had driving a brand new 1967 Ford
Mustang Shelby GT500 (owned by a Lady friend
from Grundy, Virginia) all around Pike Co., Kentucky...
way back then.

I know this sounds a little lame but I'm having trouble figuring out how to post those big beautiful pics of my work like the rest of you guys do.
