1968 Cadillac Original Paint Detailing Class - September 2020

Hi Tom,

Have to keep this short, I'm in the middle of buffing out a floaty toy.

The paint used back then I believe was called,

Magic Lacquer


I would not do the Comet Technique to this car unless it's really really bad.

Can you share some pictures?

Saw the floaty toy....! Watching it now!

My guts says the same---this "GN paint" was a problem when they first came out. Most got repainted. This one wasn't repainted.
Because of that....I'll just take it slow and easy...

Will send picture when I get my hands on it!
