My dad had a 1967 GTX (light blue w/440 super commando) and had to sell it when I was born. All of my life I've wanted to buy a similar GTX, park it in Dad's driveway, and throw him the keys and say there...it's yours dad. I'm 39 and I still haven't given up on that dream...graduating college will certainly help me make this dream come true. I'd rather be able to give my dad a car like that than to be able to buy toys for myself. Then again, as much as he and I both love these awesome oldies, I'd rather have my dad than to own one of these cars.
I showed this thread to my dad. He said it brought back many good memories. Dad's laid up with a bad knee right now, but I think this thread made his day. Thanks for posting!!
