So one of my best friends has had this car for over 8 years now. The initial detail was pretty intense back then but since then it's basically been every other year, THIS WAS THE YEAR!

1979 Mazda Rx-7

-200 hp built 13b rotary w/Racing Beat intake and FULL exhaust

-5 speed manual, ofcoarse

-Disc brake GSL-SE rear end

-0-60 7.0 seconds

-Top Speed...140 mph (when brass pair equipped)

-Lava Red Pearl (can't quite remember the name, MS3/MS6 OEM color)

Products
-------------

-WGU made up as clay lube
-Griot's Garage fine clay towel
-3D Speed
-Griot's Garage GG6 & GG3
-Griot's Garage orange pad
-Griot's Garage mf pads (GG3)
-Griot's Garage new foam cannon
-CG's Honeydew soap
-Turtle Wax Ceramic + graphene paste
-Adam's graphene tire dressing

The car looked good inperson, people love Hectour's 7! Once I was done claying the 7 I knew it could be better but I had NO IDEA it would go up more than "the next level"

After a 2 section pass with 3D Speed, orange pad and the GG6 w/5" backing plate set to speed 4.5 I was shocked I tried to take a pic of the distinctive line but it just wouldn't show up good but we both couldn't believe a 1 step could do THISI used the GG3 on some little areas where Hectour had a mishap, lightened up the spot to his satisfaction. Also used the GG3 on the bumpers, roof (huge glass sunroof), area under the front/rear bumpers...very handy and that 2" backing plate conversion was awesome!

I even polished the glass and that too was brought up by 3D Spped and my machine/pad combo, this really impressed us

Then the 7 was pulled out of the garage and then tried out the Griot's Garage Brillant Shine foam cannon...mic drop, period CG's Honeydew produced great foam, what a foam cannon! I cleaned the tires and wheels, Hectour rinsed it off and it was brought back into the garage to be dried off for the LSP.

Hectour chose the new TW ceramic + graphene paste wax, 303 spray graphene was the other option. I applied it lightly and let sit while I went to another panel and then came back to remove it...no problem. At this point the Gloss aka "Wettness" was incredible, so couldn't wait to get it outside but first I finished with Adam's graphene tire dressing...now were ready for beauty shot

Maybe Hectour will post some of HIS pics tomorrow, thanks for viewing everyone

Killer job, really brought out ALL the gloss! The red with the white wheels is a very nice touch.

I did use 303 spray graphene on the louvers and top of the rear bumper, had to use it on something

WOW! That Red is awesome looking now. SUPER Clean car overall it seems. Brings back memories for me as I remember those years. Nice work!

You brought up some amazing gloss and depth to that bright red, what a beauty.

People love black when properly detailed, and I do too. But I’m not sure if anyone could convince me that red isn’t the best paint color when it’s dialed in.

Very cool, unique car. I hope he keeps it forever.

I'm looking at these pics now at work on an actual monitor and I'm sorry about how they look! I use my cellphone always which is a Galaxy S8 (I'm not a latest and greatest guy) and I'm hoping my buddy Hectour does come in here and post his pics, they're surely much better than mine are!

Speed for the win!!!!! :)

Looks INCREDIBLE, Rog. :righton::cheers:
