Wow...unreal...amazing...stupendous...unbelievable...beautiful...

All words that describe this detail!! I'm TRULY impressed with the work both of you put into that Datsun and the turn around...please see above!!! Pat your son on the back for a job VERY well-done!
Thank you from both of us Adam, we appreciate your compliments!!

I agree with pretty much everybody else who has posted in this thread. That is an awesome job you guys have done on that car. Fantastic write up! :props:
Thank you, we are glad you enjoyed it!

wow what a difference. First pics of car you would have had to pay me to take it away. After pics it would be worth buying.Great job

Just one word Tad, Amazing. Maybe another word, Awesome! Guess my son Dana has taught you well. All kidding aside, you have become quite a detailer. Edit: Just re-read the thread and my hat goes off to Andrew as he did the work.

Thank you from both Andrew and I, means a lot coming from you Ron. I have learned many things about detailing from you:props:

Hell of a job nicely done:xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs:
Thank you Johnny!

I don't know how I missed this when it was posted almost a year ago...simpily amazing work. I have a distinct feeling that Andrew did the majority of the work and Tad just took pictures and got the glory by posting it up here. ;)

I had an old Datsun 510 when I was a kid and it never looked as good as this thing does. Great work guys (mostly Andrew). You will enjoy driving this car around even more since you know how hard you worked on making it look amazing.

P.S. You got lucky kid, you don't look much like your dad....;)

werd. I wasn't posting much on the forums around this time last year, so I missed a lot - but I did see this thread over at another place it was posted.

Simply outstanding. I don't think I read how many hours you guys invested in this - what say you Tad?

P.S. You got lucky kid, you don't look much like your dad....;)
:whs: :D

I had to go back and read it again Tad! Incredible work!!!!
LOL at Spicy and Bob but IMO Andrew does look a lot like his pops.

Wow, great to see this old thread up again! You are right, Andrew did most of the work on this one (someone’s got to drink beer and take pictures). I'll be sure to show Andrew your comments, it will mean a lot coming from Uncle Spice. (He says you're kinda hard on most...but at least you do the job right!...lol). As to him not looking like the old man; he could only be so fortunate…Im the MAN

Thanks again Bob! I would guess that we had somewhere close to 40+ hours into this project. As to not looking like his pappy...see the above comment :D

Thanks again Corey! I will be sure to share your comment with Andrew as well. It will mean a lot comming from Uncle DOG! Both his excellent work, and his good fortune of looking like dad...Im the MAN

That's a great turnaround on that beater!:dblthumb2:

Thanks CleanGene!

I'm glad I got to see this one. I love seeing old, trashed looking cars brought back to life and this was a prime example. Good work. My sons (14 & 16) helped clean up a 2001 Neon for my daughter to drive to college and we had a good time.

Excellent. I would keep that one. Paid for and looks that good, I'd be smiling everytime I passed a new car dealer. Good job to you both and best of luck.

Very cool thread and a great looking car! It's really nice when Father and Son can share some quality time together and do some cool things like bringing this car back to life! Great work Andrew! And you too Tad! :dblthumb2:

I love seeing turnarounds on old cars like this! Looks fantastic. My father did this for my first car (Still driving it). He only showed me how to properly wax and buff. I liked the results so much I took it further! It makes you responsible for your car!
