1986 Buick Regal T-Type Turbo

Re: Autogeek's Car of the Week - 1986 Buick Regal T-Type Turbo

Hey, just wanted to thank everyone for a great time and my T-Type looks better than the day I bought it.

Thank you to Rene, Todd, Shelia and Mike for helping me to create a show car shine on my toy of 25 years...

I do have the car advertised for sale so if anyone is interested just shoot me a PM or let Mike know.

Bob

What's the story on the new graphics on the wall, Mike?

Sign looks awesome....

We're shooting season 2 of What's in the Garage? here at our studio instead of on the road. We're changing the entire format to more of a how-to show along with the human interest side of the people and their cars.

The new sign is actually an aluminum cover that fits over the "Show Car Garage" lettering so we can use which ever signage we need depending upon what we're shooting in the studio.

Very cool! Should be nice having the time to demonstrate more involved projects instead of just glossing over stuff (no pun intended) in a 2-3 minute segment. I've always preferred the "how-to" automotive shows anyway. :props:

We're lining up cars and ideas for how-to segments right now.

One of the things I"m doing anywhere I go is keeping a lookout for candidate cars for the show and then getting contact information. Since all episodes will be shot here in our studio the car have to be somewhat local to South Florida.

Lots of work has been done... lots more work to do...

Plus a new floor just went in today and the idea is we can swap out different logos...

New Floor in our TV Studio!

I agree PLUS it's easy to maintain with the glaze finish... in my opinion it's the only tile to get for a garage...

Mike, what does the diameter measure for the 4" backing plate?

If memory serves me correctly it's right at 4" and fits right to the edge of a 4" Spot Repair Pad.

My friend Bob still has it and it is for sale and it is immaculate. We didn't have a Swirl Girl that night so it will probably be back for a few pictures...
