1995 Volvo 960 Full detail

AL417 - Thank you for the kind words, glad you enjoyed the many pictures and weren't to bored by them.

klumzypinoy - Yea, even though he's a goof ball neighbor I still don't mind him. He's always willing to help out and love chatting with him. He is hevely involved in the oil rigs and always has neat things to share....but some times he just act's like a goof ball lol.

Awesome job Nica!! I really like the engine bay, it looks brand new. How do you like the 106FA compared to the 106FF?

Nica, I hope your wife "paid you back" for this detail!

jhurlbur - Thank you for the compliment. 106FF is good and I enjoy using it but 106FA is slightly better. You can work 106FA a bit longer and seems to have a nice bite to it too, not an aggresive bite but good enough to remove wet sanding marks. Certain panels required two paces while other's only took one pass with 106FA to remove the wet sanding marks. I like the way 106FA finishes, very close to 106FF but like I said slightly better. It still dusts abit oh and one things I've noticed is that Menzerna products seem to be very sensative to ambient temperature. As I kept working away on the Volvo, the light's, the machine working and the out side temperature being about 28C (could be more can't remember the exact temperature) I've noticed that Menzerna would start guming the pads quite fast...not a big deal but I just cleaned the pad once and that was all required to complete the vehicle. But if the ambient temperature gets to hot it seems that Menzerna products don't work properly, it will make your pad hop and skip, it will dry up fast guming up your pads and even a pain to remove from the paint. I only had that happen to me once so far but it's not to too bad. I'll use 106FF on other's vehicles but 106FA will be used only special vehicles and my ofcourse, my own vehicles. Hope this helps.

P1et - Yup, a nice diner and more ;) lol

ltoman - You always read my mind Lauren :D am I that predictable? hahahah :D

Thanks, Nica. All's well. :)

I'm currently working on an 99' M3 that I'll post up when finished. The owner left it with me while on vacation so it's nice having some extra time with it.

oooohhhh...oh yea don't forget to dry it...oh wait that's just the Souveran :p hahahaha ;)

Thank you for intertaning my request :righton:

I should've gotten a pic beside it while you were midway so I could've said "I was there"!

Fantastic job Carlos. Those engine pics don't do it justice, I was floored by how clean you got that engine looking.

Great job sir. I've got Friday planned for my beast. Don't suppose you're off that day huh? lol

odysseus - Thank you, glad you liked it.

SiliconX - Thank you bro, yea pictures are one thing but seeing in person are another thing huh. You know what I actually do have Friday off...a...kinda. I just have a meeting at 10:30AM that I couldn't get out off but after that I'm done. Well I actually have to do my co-workers BMW...just a wash and a wax only though. She's going on a road trip and want's some protection when she gets back I'll do the full detail. The wash and wax shouldn't take me to long..besides I have to have the BMW done before 4PM on Friday...so if we co-ordinate it properly you can come over and I can get you started wile I finish the BMW and when I'm done the BMW we can both concentrate on your vehicle. You got my number, give me a shout of your interested.
