1999 Black Mustang GT, beyond trashed...

Nice job on that Mustang. Sucks to see someone scratching something into a cars finish. I was about to ask you where you were in IL but you changed your profile and added Chicago. Thanks! There's a bunch of us around here.
About the XMT line, I use it a lot and don't get any dusting. I've read the posts about dusting and I don't know why some users are getting dust.

Cool, I'll have to try some then. Where in the Chicagoland area are you? Is yours a business or personal? I'm near Park Ridge and Niles.

I don't use the XMT products, so I can't make that call, but I can definitely tell you OC is not as aggressive as XMT4 from what I've read, but probably a *bit* more aggressive than XMT3. I've tried and did not like the PB's polishes and all I've heard is the XMT line is about the same, works but dusts. See Optimum works even better than any dusting polish I've tried, and even when the pads build up, only them will OC *very* ever so slightly dust. They rock when you're trying to keep your garage clean. :D

I bet OHC is on par with the XMT4 though, as it is known to take anything out, especialy with a rotary. For super high quality polishes that dust a bit, but work sickly well, try Chemical Guy's Diamond Cut 1500, or Four Star body shop Medium Cut Compound. I only use a PC, so anything more aggressive than that won't break down.

Thanks for the info and suggestions/recommendations!! Really appreciate it!

Such great work Nimble! That 50/50 shot (no CG pun here) is insane! There was no black paint anymore, just a ton of swirls.

Looks perfect!

One of my wife's friends had a Mustang, exactly the same and even the same year. Looks-wise, it was just as horrendous!

Awesome job!! What I found interesting was the body language of the owner in the before shots compared to the afters...he looks as refreshed as the car: obviously very pleased as he should be!

Haha good call. And in all honestly, Mike (the owner) is my good friend and has always had nice cars but never really took care of them. So for him to finally have one that's as nice as I made it really made him happy. The rear bumper swap set it off! The stock one was torn in 2 places, and had burnout rubber all over it hehe. Not to mention the scuffs, paint chips, etc.

Yeah, for the record, as seen in the pics, as mentioned on the television, X-B-O-X! ;)
