2001 Porsche 911 Turbo - Paint Correction, 22ple Application, Interior Detail

I am still debating which glass coating system to go with. Carpro, Opt.C 2.0 or this. Some of my VIP are waiting so all I need to do is pull the trigger. Any thoughts and help is highly appreciated. Thanks

Excellent and thorough work. I like your step by step photos. Shows how much attention to detail you put into this car.

Keep up the good work!
Thanks! :props:

NICE job!!!

Was that an LC white pad?
Yup, I guess I forgot to mention that... Menzerna PF2500 with 5.5" LC White Pads

Well, I have only used 22ple and OC2.0... 22ple is a silica (glass) coating while OC2.0 is ceramic based (I believe?). 22ple is a bit more of a glossy finish, though it is not a huge difference. OC2.0 is more durable in that it will last much longer than 22ple (as stated by the manufacturers). One thing I dislike about 22ple is that you have to discard your applicator and MF towels after using them with 22ple - I use high end towels which are not cheap... so I hate throwing them away when they are perfectly good condition, but the 22ple can dry in the fibers and cause them to mar the paint if reused. All in all, they are similarly priced products and are excellent for protection - You really can't go wrong with either one.

Rupes LHR21ES w/ 5.5" backing plate. No washer mod.

Wow, broke down quick! :props:

Yeah, this paint was great to work with... wasn't so soft that I needed to really work the product to break it down to nothing and it wasn't so hard that I needed to use a more aggressive compound and/or pad. PF2500 finished down extremely well... but thinking back on it a bit more, I guess I really did 4-5 passes. Typically 3 passes at the 4.5 speed and then another pass or two at a lower machine speed and quicker arm speed with no pressure just to make sure I was finishing down perfectly.

What did you use for the tail lights? Also, how to you use your LGM to get in tight corners? I just got mine yesterday and determined I can really only use for floormats.

PF2500 + white 3" LC Polishing Pads via PC7424XP (speed 5?) - moderate to heavy pressure, moderate arm speed, 4-5 passes (reducing pressure for last pass).

My LGM came with a crevice tool... although I have never really needed to use it. Most of the interiors I do are in great condition and I only really need to remove some minor staining on the mats.

Great work!
With a Porshe Carrera who needs EGGS?!@
If I bought a case of 12 eggs or any other amount and saw a few missing... I would suspect something... ?
What did the owner say when you told him about the eggs ?

Thanks! He said he sometimes brings hard boiled eggs for breakfast and a couple must have slipped under the seat without him noticing... oops.

I find that extremely hard to believe, I would smell those eggs a mile away!

Wasn't the car smelly as .... ???

But overall, Really great work!
