2001 Porsche Carrera

This client needed a refresher on the paint to remove some minor swirls/scratches in the paint, and also get some protection on the paint.

The entire car was washed with APC and Meg Hyper Wash to remove any prior protection. Once washed, all surfaces were clayed. Budget called for a one step polish and I didn’t think M205 would help much so decided to use M83 which has a little more cut. I paired M83 with flat white Lake Country pads and Griots. Didn’t have any halogen lamps with me but an LED light to aid with seeing defects.

Inside was also cleaned up but didn’t bother with any pictures.

A couple 50/50 pictures

Thanks for viewing!

Other than being a convertible, I love the wheels and the color of the paint! The car looks awesome. :props:

Bill, didn't treat the top this time around but will be seeing the client every month. It will be treated in the future. Thanks for the compliments though. Not a bad looking car for a lady in her early 30s.

Thanks Ryan. I would also much prefer a hard top coupe but would love to own this car.

I will try to get a video clip of the exhaust up soon, aftermarket and sounds great.

Great job Stephan. I have an obvious soft spot for Porsche's and love seeing one looking proper. Awesome!

Great work as always.

I really like that color a lot. A teacher of mine in college had a Porsche of that color, and it always caught my eye.

that m83 sure brought some real nice clarty to the paint.tire look really good.perfect 1 step job

Great job! What other products did you use? Interior, exterior trim engine detail..........etc

Interior was vacuumed. Apc+ was used on carpets and stains. Meg #40 was used on panels and dash. Seats were conditioned with Meg leather conditioner.

Engine was not detailed just wiped dry after wash.

Nice job, I am planning to have my 2000 Cab taken care of in the next few months, the previous owner probably didn't put more than 3 coats of wax in the 10 years he owned the car, and swirls are everywhere too.....

It's factory special order color called "Viola Metallic", very rare, local Porsche dealers say they have only seen a couple of examples over the years. The color shifts depending on the light and I found it very difficult to get a good pix, it looks almost black late in the day, just wicked.
